A very good morning to you ALL!!!! Oh…if you are stopping here for the party…it is still happening…just click
please…if you haven’t linked up…come and join the party and everyone else…check out all the AMAZING creations…you will be happy you did!!!
Well I just couldn’t stay away…I always bring you a little easy craft on Wednesday so I just had to pause from the partying and bring you one and this is soooooo EASY you can have it done in a blink of an eye and it will make sipping a yummy drink just a little bit sweeter!
Sweet Heart Straws
Aren’t they cute and all you need are a few supplies…
Straws…pretty card stock…glue…if you like paper doilies and embellishments. If you have a heart and circle punch…it makes life easier but a scissor works just as nicely! Once again this is one of those projects that you can use with items you have…you all have those little pretties that you don’t know where to use them…well I am sure they would look great on one of these! Put your own spin on this…that is what makes crafting projects FUN…your own special touch is always PRICELESS!!!!
Simply prepare your hearts in the card stock of your choice…
Then take two hearts…place a dab of glue on both sides of the wide ends of the heart the INSIDE (the area that will not show) and then sandwich them together and allow it to dry… there will be a nice opening in the center…repeat…
now simply take your straw and slide it in…just push from the top and it will slide on very nicely…
time to decorate…suggestions…punch or cut a little circle from pretty complimentary card stock or maybe the edge of a paper doily…they are so fabulous…there is so much you can do with those little pretties!
Now it is time to glue your embellishment onto the center of your heart…it’s that easy! You are done!
Imagine the possibilities…you can tailor these to any party!
A perfect little decoration at your child’s next birthday and you can make your creation to fit the theme!
Then you can just make them for FUN!!!
One of these cuties just seems to make the drink sweeter!
Hope you enjoy making these all year round…not just for Valentine’s Day…Let your imagination soar and the results will be perfect!!!
Well I will see you tomorrow for Thankful Thursdays!
If you haven’t dropped by the Linky Party…Please do — there are AMAZING Impossibles that were made POSSIBLE…I know you will love them
check it out…the creations are awesome
Sending BIG
(((HUGS)))

Another DARLING idea Andrea. I absolutely LOVE the straws. Just too too cute! I am just amazed at all the delightful things you do. I’m going to sign up for your blog to be emailed to me. I don’t want to miss another thing! I love the cute milk bottle too. Can you tell me where you got it. They seem to be hard to come by these days.
Thankyou for coming to my blog and posting a comment. Thats means alot to me. I am still learning so much as I’m a pretty new blogger. But I truly love it. Thanks again.

Cute, cute! And thanks for the tip on the straws (I’m finally getting some to play with and always like finding new sources). Where did you get the mini milk bottle? I’ve been trying to find some just like that (no threaded rim) and I’ve only found one place which is a bit $$. I’m getting obsessed with needing to have some!
