Junkin Joe Vintage and Thrifty Finds, Features and Linky Party

WELCOME back Friends.  It seems as though an eternity has passed since we gathered last…it is just so good to be back and Joe and I are really looking forward to seeing and hearing what you have been up to.
As you can imagine we JJ has not had a lot of time to go Junkin and is on a very limited budget…but he did just a little so he could bring something to the table today…let’s see what he found on that $5.00 budget which he only use $4.00 of!
Come on in and party with us… Oh and don’t forget to check out my first post of today…Stocking Stuffers for Men and Women

$4.00 well spent I do believe…see what you think.
Going to start with what I thought was a FABULOUS FIND and a perfect Christmas Gift (after it is filled with some homemade goodies) for someone special in our lives…see what you think…
a gorgeous light pink milk glass candy dish…
tons of detail and charm…
acorns and holly celebrating the seasons of Fall and Winter…
just waiting for that homemade touch to fill it with joy!
There is always room for vintage English China…
trimmed in gold and precious blue forget-me-nots…
what do you think…some homemade cookies wrapped in cello with a beautiful bow…great gift from the heart.
$1.00…in perfect condition…a bit 70’s I do believe
the questions is…
do I spice them up with a bit of shabbying…or maybe a bold and brilliant colored paint like colbalt blue and put the modern spin on them…or…
leave them as is??? Would love to hear what your opinion is…
So there you have it for this weeks finds…I do believe that he did a great job on $4.00! Starting next week…he is going to have his eye on the Holidays…his budget won’t change so we are going to have to see if he can rise to the challenge  : )
Now let’s check out some party going Junkin Joe fans from weeks ago!  You know the ropes…it’s a long one : )

  14. Great job Joe on $4.00..The pink milk glass candy dish looks like Jennette Glass which was made in the town of Jennette up here in PA..I have a few pieces of it myself that are just beautiful..Those awesome Santa Libby glasses from “Old Fashioned Gal”..I have a set of those too but they have to be sacrificed to Ebay to make me some Christmas money!

  15. Oh my Gosh! What a bunch of fun! I love all the features. The party looks great. I can not get over the milk glass, I would have just gone bonkers over that one. I think it is such a great, pretty piece. I do mean it is lovely!! I think the Salt n Pepper would look cute with some bright red and green! Just a holiday thought!

  16. Andrea, that pink milk glass dish is AMAZING! That really pale pink glass is sooo hard to find now…great score! thanks for the feature and for hosting. Have a great week!
