The dog days of Summer are here and there is simply nothing like a a tall glass of delicious easy Iced Coffee to cool things down. I’m sharing with you today an easy iced coffee blend that takes about a minute…as yummy as the fancy barista creations at a fraction of the cost!
I don’t really think you can call it a recipe! All you need is your favorite blend of coffee (hot or cold) so it is a great way to use left-overs…add a tablespoon of condensed milk (or more if you like it extra sweet and creamy)…stir and today I added a scoop of some yummy ice cream with a touch of chocolate shavings…viola…it’s ready. A lot easier than driving…getting out of the car…waiting on line and paying $6…you can enjoy this one in your jammies!
There are so many different ways you can mix this simple formula up…a little squirt of chocolate syrup…a touch of cinnamon to the grounds when you brew…any of your favorite flavored syrups…a scoop of your favorite flavored ice cream…whipped cream and anything else delicious you can think of…but the KEY is
condensed milk!
If you want to enjoy a glass without the decadent scoop…my biggest suggestion is to make some coffee ice cubes …that way your treat never gets diluted. You are going to be amazed how the condensed milk makes your coffee creamy with just the right touch of sweetness…it’s great in hot coffee too. Believe it or not…my favorite iced coffee is just my favorite cup of joe black…no sugar… chilled…yes…I am a hard-core coffee drinker. But this little treat does make me smile and I think it will do the same for you. You know you can also take this and pop it in the blender with extra coffee ice cubes for a thick iced drink. So many different ways.
I have some friends that enjoy a good iced brew too and they are sharing their special versions with us so be sure to drop by and have a cup with them today!
I hear those coffee makers firing up as we speak. Wish I could enjoy a cup in person…but we can share a virtual cup any time.

I bring iced coffee with me to the pool! I prepare it before hand and pop it in the freezer for a while and then it has little bits of slush in it! I make mine, strong, sweet, thick and creamy!

I love that this recipe has options, Andrea! And I think putting it in the blender sounds like a great idea. I’ll be trying that with my next iced coffee!

Condensed milk, like the stuff that comes in a can and you use for pumpkin pie and such? Or like, powdered milk?
Either way, this looks/sounds amazing and I love the adaptability! Thanks for all the ideas! I’ve been looking for more ideas for making my own iced coffee, when I dont have the time/money to stop at a fancy coffee shop!
I also love the frozen coffee “icecubes” idea. I’ve been doing that ever since I discovered it at a local place that uses frozen espresso cubes in its iced coffee!
