Once again it is time for the Cottage of the Week. A moment in time where you can put your feet up…enjoy a cup of something yummy and just sit back and relax while you soak in the beautiful decor. Today we are going to be knocking on the door of the one and only The Graphics Fairy
First I would like to introduce you to a very good friend of mine
Karen but many of you know her as…The Graphics Fairy. If by any chance you haven’t visited her at her amazing blog…a place filled with wonderful vintage graphics that she shares with us all…you really have to! Then she also has a Craft/ DIY Blog that has fabulous projects…features…so many of her original creations and tons of inspiration for
decorating your home. Be prepared to stay hours when you visit!
Let’s say hi to Karen!
We will begin with this beautiful Coastal Style Living Room. Just looking at the soft and cushy couch I feel comfy and cozy.
The amazing rich gray walls bring out the beauty of the crisp white and other details such as this unique driftwood heart.
You can almost hear the crashing of the waves while you sit back and relax in this extremely inviting space.
This room is filled with details details details.
A quick little view into this room during the holidays…one thing is for certain…you are going to want to see more : )
How about some formal but whimsical dining!
The table decor is forever changing…I simply adore the use of gorgeous old books as a center piece…don’t you! Great idea isn’t it!
This precious Chandy brings so much personality and whimsy into this wonderful room! And I love that the touch of the daisies were Mr. Fairy’s idea!
Speaking of daisies…they just don’t get more beautiful than these. Karen’s Grandmother’s Limoges China with hand painted daisies hand painted on them…now that is inspiration.
Speaking of Karen’s dear Grandmother, The grand gold Pier Mirror is a piece from her Grandparent’s home. The heavenly gold wing is new…but I have to say that it is my most favorite piece in this incredibly home…I am over the top in love with it and the emotions that it evokes.
Tea for you and daisies too!
The pops of gold from the geometric pattern pillow brings in just the right amount of shimmer into this amazing room…this girl has style!
Here is a birds eye view into the family room…stunning.
The grand fireplace and mantle are the showcase of this space…
once again comfort that you can feel with your eyes…love the pop of color…the green is so yummy!
Now for the details…
Love this cloche and the rustic log slice is the perfect accent…
this zen vignette is a peaceful focal in the room…
pages highlighting some of the gorgeous graphic gifts Karen bestows upon us look picture perfect on the rich wooden table…another one of those fabulous quick and easy ideas to change things up a bit!
I have to share a little peek into the family room during the holiday season…
oh and the mantle shimmers…drop by for more holiday cheer.
Karen’s girly side comes out in this adorable guest room…I am in love with the half table!
Now let’s enter the kitchen with that classic black and white flooring!
A touch of cottage chic with the charming ruffled chairs.
The old chippy Farm Table is a perfect piece for this wonderful room.
Drop by for more of this gracious kitchen.
Enjoy a cup of with Karen …there is just so much more to see.
One thing I highly recommend it taking the Holiday tour throughout the entire house…you will thank me!
