You’re The Write One For ME! Â
The perfect sentiment for so many people don’t you think. These are awesome for school Valentines…it’s a card and a gift! These are quick…fun and easy! I’ll show you!
First take out your card stock…fire up the printer…download the cards and the love arrow and print!
All you need are the print-outs…a scissor…some cool pencils…some baker’s twine and you will need some glue. I personally used hot glue…have the kids use the low temp hot glue gun to be safe!
Your first step is to cut everything out.
Step 2 you fold one of the arrow feathers in half and then run a thin stream of glue in the center of the flat one and apply the folded piece directly in the center. This simple liuttle step creates a cool 3-d effect!
Step 3 run another thin stream of glue in the center of the feather and then place and lightly push the pencil in the center…remember to have the eraser part above the feather : )
Step 4 just poke two little holes with a pencil point of skewer (I used a skewer) then thread your baker’s twine through the holes with the two ends facing up…place the pencil in the center tie with a tight knot and then form your bow!
Step 5 Viola…it’s ready for your little note in the back or your signature.
Just keep printing and repeating till you have as many as you need and a few extras (you never know!)
I bet everyone you give one to is going to think you are the WRITE one for them too!
I know first hand that Carli over at dimplePrints is waiting for you with another cool Valentine!

Love these Valentines! Perfect as a non-candy option! Do you remember where you got the pencils? I’d love to find out before I start hunting for them 🙂
Andrea says
Hey there Kristin! How are you! So glad you enjoyed the non-candy option! I got the pencils at Office Depot and I know that I also got a pack of rainbow foil ones at CVS …don’t know what part of the states you are from…but hopefully you have one of the two : ) I do believe you can get that at Staples and at Target also : ) Hope that helps! Happy Valentine’s Day! hugs…
