Good Morning friends. Joe and I would like to welcome you to another episode of Junkin Joe. Since we are family we have to be honest with you…we greet you today with broken hearts…our precious little pups Pops passed to the heavens this week and we can barely see though our swollen eyes. Our hearts are broken and believe me…this family will never be the same…we do have to be thankful for being blessed with this little angel in our lives…he touched every facet…every moment…he is a part of our soul and always will be. I will be writing a little memorial about our precious Pops…but just not yet…I can’t see through my tears now…but I ask if you could say a little prayer for him or just remember him in your heart. So please excuse me for not being bubbly today…the blog has been running on auto pilot…but Junkin Joe is done live in the morning…it’s 3:20 am right now and tears are flowing.
Today’s Junkin Joe is going to be a shorter one and we hope you understand why in your hearts. Next week we will return to our normal features…but for today…there will be just a few…even though each and everyone is wonderful. We hope you understand and we love you all.

So sorry to hear of your loss of a dear sweet pet, it’s hard to deal with the pain. The unconditional love he gave and happiness he brought to your lives. I too have lost pets in the past, today when I think of them it still brings a smile and tears. It will get a little less painful as time passes…(((hugs))) to you Andrea

I am so sorry about Pops. We lost two dogs within 6 months and I thought I would go crazy. I swore off pets because I didn’t want to be hurt again. Then I saw a puppy and started crying. All this time later we have 2 pit bulls and 2 cats – all the loves of our lives. Someone told me the best was to honor a pet that we lost is to get another one so we could share all of our love. They were right. I will remember all of you in my prayers.
Andrea says
Thank you so much Patty for caring. I know how that feels also…I lost two dogs Rusty and Beau within 9 months and never really recovered from it but what got us through was driving 1,000 miles to pick up Pops and Basil who had been terribly abused and needed to be removed from their West Virginia Home immediately or else (I won’t say what). By the way…we live in NJ. You are so right that they get you through…but right now…at this moment…my heart feels crushed…broken…and thank God we still have Pops son Basil. I don’t know what the future will bring…but I do know that we are going to start a animal charity in his name very soon. Sending much love to you and I will light a candle for each one of your angels and hugs to your pups and kitties.
Betsy says

So sorry for your loss. I mourned the loss of my kitties for months. The one I had for almost 21 years is still missed (& cried over at times). I now have 4 kitties – all “throw aways” that were rescued – giving them a good life honors the ones gone over the rainbow bridge. I hope your pain lessens a little every week that goes by.
Andrea says
Oh Mary…my heart bleeds for you…I know exactly how you feel…I cry for all of my angels each day All of mine were/are rescues and I know each time one is rescued our little angels are smiling at us. I just hang on to the thoughts of when we are together again. Sending hugs and thinking of you.
