Here is how simple it is to make!
Skinny Blueberry Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 banana
1 cup of your favorite almond milk…if you like things sweeter…use a vanilla flavored almond milk
1 tablespoon of honey or organic brown sugar
1/2 cup of Ricotta cheese or 1/2 cup of Vanilla Greek Yogurt
1 cup of crushed ice
mint leaves for garnish
Directions:
Put everything into the blender and blend till smooth. Pour into four 4 ounce glasses or a tall glass just for you and garnish if you would like. Then…Drink UP!!!
Other Suggestions:
You can use this smoothie and freeze it into low cal Popsicles, freeze them in ice cube trays for a quick snack for you or your doggie (yes…blueberries are a dog safe food : ) Or if you would like a bit more decadence…add a tablespoon of almond butter! So versatile and yummy. Most of all…ENJOY…BON APPETIT!
