There are some really cute ideas here, I can’t even pick a favorite, I love them all! I just used some louvered bi-fold closet doors (not really shutters but the same look) to create a sort of temporary wall to display wall gallery items that I sell in my Etsy shop. I wanted to be able to photograph all the gallery pieces together without putting all kinds of holes in my walls. The shutter doors work perfectly. I made some little hooks out of paperclips that hook right over the louvers and I can arrange to my heart’s content!

I love the towel holder you made with the shutter. I saw it on Pinterest and it brought me to this page but I don’t see it here as one of the 8 shutter DIY projects. I’ve painted my shutter and need to find a basket to attach. I looks like you used a wire basket and it looks like the shutter is sitting in the basket. I was hoping there would be instruction on this site. If you can provide any info, that would be great. I imagine I could probably use a hook and hang any type of a basket from the shutter but the wire one is perfect. I applaud your creativity. You are such an inspiration!
