Here at The Cottage Market we care conjuring up some delicious DIY Flavored Salts and they come with Free Printable Labels to make the gift giving presentation more fun…plus the labels are great for your pantry too! You won’t believe how simple it is to make your own yummy salts…I bet you won’t be buying them any more…yep…it’s that easy!

These yummy salts are going to add a touch of pizzaz to your food! I know you are going to love them. Plus they make an amazing gift! Stack them up and tie a nice big ribbon around the three jars…or box them pretty! Whoever gets these as a gift is going to love them!

This is one of my favorite Salts! It is Spicy and adds a kick to soups…salads and anything you enjoy a extra burst of flavor and heat!
Sriracha Salt
Ingredients:
1 cup of Good Kosher Salt of your choice
4 Tablespoons of Sriracha
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 325
Mix your salt with the Sriracha until completely mixed.
Spread the salt onto a baking sheet.
Turn the oven off and put the baking sheet with salt into the oven for 4 hours.
Then Fluff it up a bit and place in jars…it’s that simple
You can also use any of your favorite hot sauces in place of Sriracha! Oh the possibilities!

This salt will add a bit of delicious Savory ZEST and a touch of heat to your foods… fabulous for Mexican! YUM!!!
Lime–Chile
Ingredients:
1 cup of Kosher Salt or any Coarse Salt of your choice
The Zest of one large Organic Lime
1 Tablespoon plus a Teaspoon of Hot Crushed Pepper (make sure it’s fresh : )
Directions:
Zest your lime very carefully with a microplaner…making sure you zest only the green skin and not any of the white pith.
Spread the zest out on a piece of cheese cloth or tea towel and let it air dry for about 6 hours.
Then add the zest…salt and crushed pepper …mix and put it in your jars!

This delicious blend will add a savory citrus herb twist to your foods…delicious on just about everything!
Lemon & Rosemary
Ingredients:
1 cup of Kosher Salt or Coarse Salt of your choice
1 Tablespoon of Dried Rosemary
Zest of one Large Organic Lemon
Directions:
Zest your lemon carefully with a microplaner…making sure not to get any of the white pith.
Once again…place the zest on a tea towel and allow to air dry for about 6 hours.
Now Mix the zest…Rosemary and Salt together and put in jars!
