This is one of my favorite Salts!  It is Spicy and adds a kick to soups…salads and anything you enjoy a extra burst of flavor and heat!

Sriracha Salt

1 cup of Good Kosher Salt of your choice
4 Tablespoons of Sriracha

Preheat your oven to 325
Mix your salt with the Sriracha until completely mixed.
Spread the salt onto a baking sheet.

Turn the oven off and put the baking sheet with salt into the oven for 4 hours.
Then Fluff it up a bit and place in jars…it’s that simple
You can also use any of your favorite hot sauces in place of Sriracha!  Oh the possibilities!

This salt will add a bit of delicious Savory ZEST and a touch of heat to your foods… fabulous for Mexican! YUM!!!

1 cup of Kosher Salt or any Coarse Salt of your choice
The Zest of one large Organic Lime
1 Tablespoon plus a Teaspoon of Hot Crushed Pepper (make sure it’s fresh : )

Zest your lime very carefully with a microplaner…making sure you zest only the green skin and not any of the white pith.
Spread the zest out on a piece of cheese cloth or tea towel and let it air dry for about 6 hours.
Then add the zest…salt and crushed pepper …mix and put it in your jars!
