Head on over to Design Sponge and check out this is a brilliant idea that looks so amazing. One…two…three or more of these beauties would look pretty amazing on your porch…deck…patio and let’s not forget indoors also. I do believe with the proper treatment such as an outdoor paint and varnish…drainage drilled at the bottom…a heavy plastic lining with drainage wholes…a line of gravel…and wonderful soil…these can last for a very long time. I also think that deeper drawers might be a cool place to plant some herbs also. So next time you are in the Thrift Shop…think DRAWERS!!!
Can you believe this planter is upcycled from a tire? Well it has and as you well know…this planter will last just about forever. So if you are looking for planters that can withstand all of the elements and still look fabulous…I think this one might be for you. Over at Pink Hammers & Sippy Cups Pamela will show you how you can make this hanging planter but also ones that will sit nicely anywhere in your garden or on your porch. There are a few designs to add a bit of variety and just think of the possibilities with color…ENDLESS. There is one that Pamela made in a yummy blue you just have to see! ENJOY!
Logs do not always have to become firewood! You can make yourself a fabulous planter with one. Doesn’t this one made over at A Proverbs 31 Wife look incredible! You will find a tutorial over there that will show you how to make one of these beauties. I will have to admit…I don’t think I personally could make one of these because let’s say I don’t think my family would be thrilled if I was using an ax (they kind of like me whole : ) but anyone that has a way with chopping will do perfectly. Check it out…it really looks great!
