Hi everyone, how are you all! Joe and I sure hope you had a fabulous week and can’t wait to see what you have to share today!!! All of your features have been so fabulous! Well we had another insane week…there was a terrible wind store and 2 am on Sunday Morning a huge 140 Hemlock Tree came crashing down on our roof…OMG…it sounded like the house was going to collapse…then of course the electrical got hit and some of the room shingles went with the wind! We had to go out there at 2:00 to find out what happened…it was crazy…but when we saw where it had landed…we knew we were very lucky people because it crashed right on the top of my sons BR…so um…I think we are lucky …especially him 🙂 …just thought I would share! Let’s say it was a very expensive Sunday Morning!!! So what is new with everyone here…share in the comments so we all can read how everyone is doing!

Hi Andrea – The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever! Blessings to you and your family – so glad to hear that everyone is safe, but I know there is a huge headache ahead with repairs and insurance and cleanup. Extra big hugs to you this week, Holly Oh and PS – thanks for the feature! I can’t believe the party still goes on even in the middle of all of this!

It seems it’s about time for some good fortune to blow your way! Glad that everyone was o.k. and at least you can be assured that your insurance agent needs work too!
Thanks for hosting!

Oh my goodness, thank goodness your son wasn’t hurt. We had two go down last year but thankfully no buildings were harmed. Hopefully your insurance company will be good both with funds and a quick repair timeline. Glad to hear everyone walked away unharmed.

I’m so sorry to hear about the tree falling on your house, but thankful that you and your family are ok. It’s been really windy here today but not enough to cause damage. Our weather in Georgia has been crazy…I feel like we’ve experienced every season in this one week!
Joy@aVintageGreen says
Oh my goodness Andrea, what a scary (and expensive) windstorm blowing that ancient tree into your home. I am guessing that you son was not in his bedroom when it hit your house.
Thank you for A Morning Cup of Joe when you are dealing with the work involved in the cleanup and repairs. Hugs.

This is my second time linking (new blogger here) and I have a question, do I link back to you with that awesome coffee cup button? Or just a straight text link? I don’t want to get it wrong.
As for what’s up with me? I turned 51 today and I’m thrilled to finally be focusing on only feeding my creative side that was squashed for too many years in a corporate job (outsources last year). I’m blessed to have the time to pursue blogging and being creative without having to also work a day job; but I salute those who currently do both 😀
Thanks for letting me join 🙂
