The first thing I want to tell you is HAPPY National DOG Day! Then the next thing I want to tell you is that this is NOT a sponsored post in any way. I am writing this because I want to share with all of you how important Pet Insurance is. We recently adopted twin girl doggies Alie and Georgia and we decided that Pet Insurance was a MUST. Before this we had probably gone through close to $25,000 in Vet fees in the last 5 years and I don’t have to tell you that it takes a toll. So we did our research, asked some friends that had Pet Insurance and we made our decision which proved to be a wonderful choice.
We as pet parents want only the best for our furry little babies and having insurance just gives you the peace of mind that no matter what happens you are ready for it and prepared to give your pet the BEST care you can possible give. Of course there are different policies at different levels and for different needs. I chose one that has a $250 deductible and covers 90% of sick care…anything that is not pre-existing including accidents like broken leg etc. It also covers prescriptions and therapy if needed. There are plans with larger deductibles and less percentages for a lesser premium available. There are tons of choices out there but I so recommend getting one. I always thought that age was going to make such a huge difference in the price but I was totally surprised that it is not that earth shattering. You can find a plan that fits your needs and your budget. Things happen no matter if your pet is a puppy or a beautiful senior citizen. My little girls were 2 when we adopted them and all I can say is that they accumulated between the two of them over $10,000 of Vet bills in 7 months time and I am so thankful that we had the insurance. It is an instant peace of mind…just knowing that you are covered you can deal with the problem at hand without the stress of money to complicate things even more. So today on National Dog Day I thought it was time to just share that with you…it’s the BEST gift you can give your Pet and the BEST gift you can give yourself. Do your research…find the one that is perfect for you and your needs…you will be oh so glad you did. So many people have to give up their pets because they can’t afford the care…this is a guarantee that it won’t happen to your pet and family. This post comes from the heart. You both deserve the very best!
This is a list from Consumer Advocates that I thought would be helpful. I want to repeat…this Post is NOT Sponsored and DOES NOT contain any AFFILIATE Links…I am sharing this because I want you and your pet to have the best.
