Do you have a favorite meal? I think if I have to pick it would be Brunch. It just seems as though it is the perfect combination of deliciousness and just about anything goes! An Old English magazine called Punch said that the term Brunch was coined in Britain in 1895 to describe a Sunday Meal for “Saturday -Night Carousers!” Well Brunch here in the US has become so popular we will partake any day of the week if we can : ) So today I put together a nice varied Collection of Brunch Recipes…so this just might answer the question What’s For Brunch!

Eggs in Purgatory

This dish is what Brunch Dreams are made of (says the Italian Jersey Girl : ) I am serious…this is an easy dish to make…it’s full of flavor…looks amazing and well…it’s just plain delicious! It’s even better with Fresh Free Range Eggs! Make sure to have a loaf of crusty Italian Bread or some Focaccia Bread to dip into the yolk and the sauce. This dish is perfect ANY time of day. By the way there are many variations of this dish…some spicy…some with different cheeses…try them all!

The Frittata is another Brunch natural! There are a million and one combinations you can make and this one is a great place to start. If you don’t like Chard…substitute with Spinach. I love to serve with a salad…some crusty bread and a glass of red wine! A great meal for a nice Brunch…easy to make…easy to serve! There is a world of Frittata’s out there…explore!

Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast

French Toast is a fabulous Brunch and this French Toast will please kids of ALL ages! It’s a great way to feed a crowd and put a smile on each and everyone’s face. Add some Fresh Fruit Salad…a few different syrups and some yummy fresh whipped cream and believe me…you have a winner! I saw something like it on Triple D so I had to recreate it with my own twist and it works! You can even mix it up with your favorite cereals…just make sure the cereal is crunchy and has a nice sweetness to it…no shredded wheat lol!!!
