Jess over at Mom 4 Real purchases a cabinet that she turned into a great Kitchen Island. It is not only extremely useful but it is truly a decorative treasure. You can achieve the same look by visiting a Thrift Store and snatching up a small bookshelf or an old cabinet which you just have to remove the doors from and create. You can add fun and decorative legs…a Towel Bar and Hooks on the sides and save the top shelf for those fabulous Cookbooks or fill it up with them from top to bottom.
Elle Decor is featuring this brilliant idea. For larger collections you can remove the doors of the entire top cabinet space and instantly you have a great Bookshelf Unit. This will be the star of your room. If you decide to take the styling a bit further and add a great pot and pan collection on the backsplash along with cooking treasures on the counter…WOW! Be inspired…who knew it could be as easy as removing a cabinet door or doors.
If you are lucky enough to have a collection of Vintage Cookbooks…adding them to an antique Farmhouse Scale is exactly what your Country Kitchen has been looking for. You can add a plant on top or a special tin…anything your heart desires. A great decorative way to display these little treasures. Visit Grace and Ivy for more decorating ideas.
When I was looking through Pinterest I found this fun Wall but there was no direct back link…but I still had to share it with you. Just by adding some floating shelves to a wall you can create and entire Cookbook Display…it will actually look like a large piece of artwork since all of the covers will be facing out. I bet when your family and friends come over…they will pick up a book or two because the space simply invites them to. Love this idea and you can make it as large or small as you would like. Side note…this would be a great idea for a child’s room.
I know that we covered removing the cabinet doors…but that is not what caught my eye on this pin..it was the Cookbook Displayed on the easel …how great does that look and what a wonderful way to display the book along with your favorite recipe. Plus it’s a perfect holder when you are actually making dinner. No moving the book around or the chance of getting it dirty with your hands.
Over at Rain On A Tin Roof you will find a simple yet oh so Industrial way to display some Cookbooks on the wall. Just be turning strong wire baskets on their sides and attaching the to the wall…you books have a farmhouse fabulous place to live. Add 2…3…to the wall or more!
I love this FRESH Pin that shows you that by simply adding regular shelving with off the rack brackets can turn into an incredible display for your favorite books…pottery…plants…spices and more. With some paint you can make them to coordinate perfectly with your Kitchen Decor. It doesn’t have to be expensive to be amazing!
Decozilla shows us that just two little ledges could be just what we need for a small collection of Cookbooks. It is the perfect way to fill an empty spot that needs some style too. So quick…so easy…so inexpensive…so useful!
I personally think that The Farm chicks came up with such a charming way to display a few of your special Cookbooks with total Farmhouse Style! By simple taking a vintage dish rack and filling it with books it becomes a precious and unique display and storage. I wonder if Joanna Gaines has used this trick???
The creative Carol from The Red Painted Cottage created a great Vintage Style Farmer’s Market Crate and it is now housing her Cookbook Collection in true Farmhouse Style. You can do the same by purchasing an old crate or buying a premed one and paint it to the style you love. One way or another it is going to look great on the counter.
Yvonne over at StoneGable has the best ideas. Do you see what she has done here. She took a small vintage style step stool and place a stack of Cookbooks on it and then he filled up a big wire basket with Cookbooks underneath the Buffet…she even stores her linens in vintage crates. So imaginative and it looks Farmtastic! There is so much inspiration over at her blog!
Talk about creative! I don’t think I would ever have thought to use a Vintage Style Chicken Feeder for a place to display some Cookbooks and Pamphlet Cookbooks. So charming. Becky’s Farmhouse is waiting to welcome you for many other display ideas.
This pin reminds us if we have some extra Hutch Space…it is a wonderful place to display some of those Cookbooks!
There are so many ways to display Cookbooks and these were just a few…we hope that all of these ideas inspire you to create your very own space that will make those Cookbooks Shine!
