Morning one and all…how are you today!
It’s time for another episode of
Junkin Joe
This week he was put on a little budget…$20.00…his collecting is starting to mound : ) I think he is going to get a section in my Etsy Shop this week! The selection that he came home with this week was really wonderful and very different from the pretty china fare…the items were a bit larger but fun…how about I show you…by the way we had a guest junker this week…more on that in a minute!
Here’s a birds eye view of JJ’s treasures!
I know that many of you out there know Keren from
Well I found out FIRST HAND that her husband Josh is quite the “junker” himself…a package arrived at my door step and you can imagine the squeal when I opened this…
isn’t he a cutie pie!!!! Keren said that Josh was so excited when he say this little pup…
he scooped this fabulous find right up…
and sent him to his new home…MINE!!!! Come on…how sweet is that!!!! Thank you so much Keren and Josh…you sure made my day. I dub you Junking Josh! (((HUGS)))
Love this find…this is a vintage Mikassa piece…
I actually have a solo set and now it has company… I especially love how stunning it looks when I am photographing food pictures!
These are just fabulous…
vintage milk glass is always in fashion…
and a set of 4…cool find!
Well if it is “retro” you want…here you go…
perfect condition…
a real blast from the past!
and they came two by two (just noticed that someone is taking a nap lol!!!) and I think Mrs. Noah is cooking!
some sheep…elephants…giraffes…horses…goats…
I LOVE this find…and guess what? It is actually vintage…the date on the back was 1978…I should have showed you…but I will tell you…the top comes off so you can store the animals and Noah during a storm…I hear it rains a lot where they are from!
Now this one gets the WOW award…if my friend Kelly from Eclectically Vintage
is out there…I thought of you when he brought this home!
check out her out today…she has an awesome spice jar set that I must say I covet!!! : )
it is just incredible…the clips are even on this masterpiece…
the glass lenses are in tact…why does everything from an aged past look so much more interesting than now? Will “they” be saying that about our stuff??? Don’t you wonder?
Well there you have…another episode of
but before we go…I have
Tip #2 from JJ!
He wants to share one of his biggest tricks while searching for finds…a simple one…but one to always remember…LOOK behind and under things…look in the oddest of spots…people “hide” things places…yup…they do…Keep those eyes open : )
Tons of
(((((HUGS)))))
from us all!
ps: Colleen — if you are out there…please send me your mailing address to TheCottageMarket@gmail : ) hugs…
