Welcome to Take 5. What is Take 5 you ask…well it is a collection of 5 things that I think you will all enjoy! It can be themed…random…food…crafts…home decor and everything in between. Hopefully you will love them enough to take 5 minutes out of your busy day… relax and enjoy! It’s all about decorating
outdoor decor with a vintage touch!
Having company over for and outside gathering? Do you and your family love to enjoy the outdoors and a great meal with a gentle breeze and surrounded by the beauty of your own back yard?
Well here are a few ideas for you that are not as conventional as the traditional patio furniture…it’s a fun way to express yourself and that whimsical side! Vintage looks just as great outside as it does inside!
I personally would love to do this some day…it is just so pretty and sweet. I am keeping an eye out at garage sales and thrift shops for a wooden table and maybe an array of different chairs to create a setting like this one. Would LOVE to have the sweet love seat…you never know…one day it just might present itself in the most unlikely of places! This is like a blank canvas and you can create a wonderland of your own!
These vintage adirondack chairs and chippy table toppeed with fresh cut lilacs…so wonderful and a perfect place for a cool glass of pink lemonade!
How about a simple dessert table that looks like a million dollars!
An old bench with a beautiful vignette…an older table with fresh flowers and beautiful desserts and china. Tell me your friends and family wouldn’t love to enjoy the day right here!
How about adding a bit of charm to your garden with a beautiful vignette…one that can weather the outdoors…with each rain it will become even more beautiful with a touch of patina and a bit of chippy rust. Bet you would have tons fun creating your very own in your very special style!
Do you have a few vintage odds and ends? Here is a perfect example of what you can create with just a few items…your backyard will love the attention and it will reward you with a comfy seat to enjoy your morning coffee
with a view!
I love all of these ideas and there are so many more out there! They just show us and remind us that sometimes you have everything you need to create a beautiful space. Everything does not have to have a high price tag. Hope your have been inspired and your creativity is working double time as we speak : )
(((((HUGS)))))
See you tomorrow!

Hi Andrea…checking in to see what spring would offer and I stumbled on your blog. I love shopping for vintage stuff for the garden from cups to bowls to chairs and benches and even tires (use them for planting)! Thanks for the inspiring pictures – they make me want to run again to see if I can get any more buys from my favorite vintage store.
