Well friends…today I have yet another collection of one of my favorite upcycle subject matters…can you guess what it is? Well if you guessed drawers then you would be right! I can’t tell you how much I love old drawers…there are so many incredible things you can do with the it is unbelievable! So of course when I find some really awesome DIY Drawer Projects that I have not shown you before…it’s a must do! You are really going to want to stack up your drawer supply when you see these…so don’t let those drawers get away from you…snatch them up whenever you can. Their uses are LIMITLESS!!!! So sit back…enjoy a cup of something yummy and ENJOY!!!
I have yet to see a drawer upcycled into a cabinet…until now! It’s pretty amazing and Gail from My {re} Purposed Life is sharing a detailed DIY that you can adapt to whatever drawer or drawers you are lucky enough to find. You are going to want to do this!!!
I just love what is happening over at Queen b and Me. She has created a beautiful vignette for her porch by upcycling 2 drawers…making them into planters and then adding a few other pieces …in the end it looks totally fabulous and any porch would be graced by this whimsical creation. I highly recommend that you seal the inside of the drawer…line it with plastic…drill hole in the bottom for drainage and put a layer of gravel before your put your soil and plant away! Oh I bet you will come up with something over the top fabulous!

I found this inspirational photo over at Simply Rosie… no DIY needed here…but the idea is fabulous…using them as trays and dessert and food displays for a Wedding or any kind of Party or Gathering. It’s really a brilliant idea. Simply prepare your drawer…paint it…stain it…give it a special treatment…whatever your heart desires…then line it with appropriate covering and display the food. You can use them over and over and over again and trust me people are going to be very impressed with your creativity…but watch out…they are going to start tipping into your drawer resources lol!
I am totally in love with the Farmhouse Style Cubby DIY over at House of Hawthornes…it is so easy and looks incredible! Of course you don’t have to do it with stained drawers…you can paint them…give them a new treatments…wallpaper them…whatever your heart desires…but in the end it look amazing and so very useful!
