Drinking sixteen ounces of water will increase your metabolism by up to 30%
Can’t get that garlic smell off or your hands after making your favorite dish? Well you can rub them on Stainless Steel for 30 seconds before washing them or get a half of a lemon and rub your hands really good with it and you will smell lemon fresh!
If you are looking to eat to relieve some stress you just might want to add Bananas…pasta…Almonds…Chocolate…OJ…Watermelon…Green Tea and Grapes to your Shopping List!
When you take your Sour Cream or Cottage Cheese container and store it upside down…it creates a vacuum seal and it will stay fresh twice as long…the seal keep the bacteria from growing. So if you don’t eat those items quickly…turn their world upside down.
Skip the coffee if you want to stay awake and eat an apple instead! (The sugars are also one of the main reasons apples have similar effects to caffeine. Vitamins from apples, specifically the skin, are released slowly throughout the body, making you feel more awake.) A much healthier option than coffee!
It’s time to watch some fun Comedies and LAUGH…Scientists have determined that 15 minutes of laughing can give your body the results of 2 hours of sleep.
Have you ever baked your cookies in a cupcake tin? It really works…no more cookies running into cookies…they turn out perfectly round!
Tired of leaky ice cream cones? The little ones will love this method of stopping the drip…take a teaspoon of sprinkles and fill the bottom end of the cone up. Not only will it stop the leak…it’s a fun little surprise at the end!
To make your candle burn longer and drip less…place it in the freezer for a few hours!
If you take a new sponge…hydrate it…slip it into a ziplock bag…seal it and freeze it…it makes a great ice pack!
Placing a hydrated sponge circle at the bottom of your clay pots will help keep those roots nice and moist and that makes for a happy plant!
You can use Coffee Filters to clean your TV Screen? Yep…it’s soft enough that it won’t scratch and it has a bit of grip so it will grab that dust!
When you are baking Cut out Cookies for your family or pets…remember to keep a little bowl of flour next to you so you can dip the cookie cutter into it each time you make a cut. That simple move will prevent the cutter from sticking to the dough and give your cleaner cuts and less aggravation : )
Don’t throw away those mushroom stems…the tops to your carrots…the bottom of your celery…the ends to your zucchini…the stalks to your broccoli…those asparagus bottoms and all the other vegetable scraps you have through the week. Collect them as you go in a zip lock baggie and place them in the freezer. In no time at all you will have enough to make Vegetable Stock.
I never knew this…a Vet just told us that a great way to help your doggies teeth stay clean is to wrap some gauze around your finger and then rub it over your doggies teeth. He said you don’t even have to use the doggie toothpaste but I am sure that it wouldn’t hurt! It is SOOOOOO much easier than using the brush (I can see all of you shaking your heads YES lol!!!) It’s quick..easy and so much less invasive to the dog. It is also something you won’t put off because it is easy to do.
By leaving a shallow dish of Apple Cider Vinegar on the kitchen counter overnight…those strong kitchen odors disappear (especially if you accidentally burnt something : )
By storing your ice cream containers in zip lock bags…the ice cream will stay creamier because the bag protects it from oxygen…so no more crystals! It’s worth the extra step
Want to stay in the know? I’d really love that! (((HUGS))) |

I am loving all these hacks, especially the ones I didn’t know about which was almost all of them. I am going to print this out. Now I have a hack and this was from a friend of mine. You buy a lb. of bacon because it’s a really good sale but you don’t need to use it right now so you freeze the whole lb. A week from now you find a recipe that uses 6 strips of bacon. In order to get those 6 strips, you have to thaw out the whole lb. right? Not if you had used my hack. Before I freeze the whole lb. I take each strip and roll it up, then I stand each strip up in a freezer zip lock bag. Now when you need 6 strips or 2 or 3, you just pull them apart, unroll them and cook them! Sometimes you need a butter knife to get them apart but not very often. They only take a few min. to thaw out before you can unroll them and sometimes you can unroll them right away. Best hack I ever heard, next to a lot of yours of course.
