I was searching around as I always do…looking for items that have been Thrifted that you all would enjoy. When I found this pretty page over at Bows and Arrows Deluxe I could not help but notice the candles and got to thinking that if you are someone that loves to collect all kind of glassware…seemed or not…clear or colored…milk glass and more…you could make the most beautiful Candles for your Table or any where just by taking the glass…filling it with rice or even epson salt…stick the candle in the middle and then put it into a glass cylinder that I know first hand you can get at the Dollar Store for you guessed it…a dollar! I mean the possibilities are endless and so inexpensive to create! If you visit this page you will see some more ideas you will want to create also. I just thing the potential is amazing…even for a Wedding…Anniversary…Birthday…Shower or just to make your table look pretty! Hope you have fun experimenting.
Well…let’s just say that Larissa…the Princess of Thrift Store Makeovers found some “stuff” and this is what happened to it! Leave it to Sarah from Sadie Seasongoods to take a plain glass jug and turn it into an incredible Farmhouse Accessory! Come and see how she did it…trust me…you will never look at a plain glass jug the same again!
If you are really lucky…you might run into a vintage Suitcase that will lend itself to becoming an awesome Chalkboard Welcome Sign for your home. You can use it in a Farmtastic Vignette and so much more (plus it give you some hidden storage and God only know we all need that : ) You will get the step by step for the prep over at Raggedy Bits…ENJOY!
I just love this little Farmhouse Side Table Makeover by Marie from Interior Frugalista! It was pretty beat up…but she took her time and gave it loving care and turned it into a piece that looks like it walked out the front door of Pottery Barn! Come and see how she did it because you can use the same approach on many little tables to come.
Come and see how the amazing Christy took at $6.98 Thrift Store Shelf and turned it into a Contemporary Farmhouse Beauty! Shelves like this appear in Thrift Stores so often…so chances are good that one might come your way in the near future. Just think of the color and pattern combinations you can create to make any room in your Farmhouse SMILE : )
