Hi friends! Today we are going to take a look at some of our favorite Farmhouse Bloggers Spaces. From the Kitchen to Bedroom and everything in between. Not only will you enjoy looking at their beautiful homes… we will also share some Fun Ideas To Accessorize Your Kitchen With Farmhouse Style. Sometimes you have to think of the room as the perfect “Little Black Dress”… sometimes you want to dress it in a classic mode with simple pearls and then there are other times that it needs a bit more glitz and glam! All of these Kitchens have great bones to start… but we are going to take a closer look to see how each one is accessorized with Farmhouse Style. In turn… hopefully it will give you more ideas to consider in decorating your own Kitchen. If you walk away with one idea from all of these rooms… I will be thrilled!!! If you enjoy this post… maybe we will take a closer look at all the other rooms in the house individually… let me know ok. Enjoy and be Inspired!
Let’s start with the one and only Liz Marie’s Kitchen. It’s an amazing blend of all levels of Farmhouse Style. We start with a gorgeous Vintage Island that is paired with 3 weathered Bar Stools. The two Pendant Lights above look simply amazing and tie that space together… it’s a perfect blend. When the Island is not being used… it’s a wonderful spot for a creative Vignette.
Now let’s take a look at the Open Shelving Space. She displays all of her every day dishes at arms reach and mixes in some special little pieces along with a plant to make it extra special. All of her appliances are in one space so they are easy to get to when needed and all of them act as an accessory too! When you visit you will get a close-up view of all of the spaces so you can really appreciate each and every one of them!
I absolutely love the display of Cutting Boards next to the stove with Apothecary Jars in front of them displaying her Baking Supplies (you need to see the Cutting Board space close-up… it’s wonderful). She also has a Coffee Bar and a few other items all display just so but ready to be used. It’s truly amazing how many items are here but they all look stylish and not cluttered at all. One more feature that makes my heart skip a beat… the white washed Wooded Floors! My take away from this… I HAVE to collect more Cutting Boards as my husband shakes his head saying “oh boy” lol!!!
There is much to see here in Miss Mustard Seed’s Kitchen! She achieves Fabulous Farmhouse Style just about everywhere. I want to start with the Island. Not so long ago the Island was White and looked lovely… but she decided to change things up and paint it this dreamy Farmhouse Green. In one afternoon she changed the look of the whole Kitchen with a little bit of paint. What is so cool is that in a year she can magically transform things again with another amazing color. So if you are lucky enough to have a wooden Island and you are looking to mix things up… think of that dreamy color that makes you smile and go for it!
Marilyn uses her Open Shelving at the cap of her Island to store all kinds of items that she uses every day … from bowls to dishes to towels. They are there when you need them and they also serve as charming accessories. Now look up… how heavenly is that Pot Rack. If you have a space for one… it is Farmhouse Gold! I also love the way she uses Thrift Store and Vintage finds to top off her island. The whole space is so put together but still looks like a space that is well lived in and enjoyed.
No we are going to visit Cristina over at RemodelaCasa as she shares her latest Contemporary Farmhouse Kitchen Makeover. Did someone say Stone Blue? That is the featured color mixed with white and it is fabulous! Cristina accessorizes her open shelving with white dishes that are all neatly place in plate racks. Her beautiful backsplash compliments everything surrounding it. The Striped rug is a perfect accent and gives the space tons personality. You an never go wrong with fresh blooms on the counter top along with a Dought Bowl filled with Fruit or Veggies. Three Pendant Glass Lights are the perfect balance of drama. There is so much to take in here… sure hope it inspires you. One thing I was reminded of… a wooden crate always adds charm!
This adorable small English Farmhouse Kitchen is simply brimming with charm. I love the vignette on the shelf above the stove. Adding artwork was a brilliant idea… complimented by some vintage items… fresh blooms and a white pitcher makes you feel like you are in a space surrounded by rolling hillsides. The antique Cutting Table is a statement piece for sure and the Silverware hardware on the cabinet is so imaginative. Then of course there is that magnificent Stove! This space might be small… but it is not short on personality or quaintness. I just wish there were more pictures! Thank you Country Living for sharing this beauty. Inspired? I know I am! My take away from this Kitchen is… be unique… choose something that brings you joy and add it to your space. This space truly reminds me that the “little things” are so important and make a house a home.
This kitchen has to be one of my most favorites of all times. The amazing cabinet color paired with a traditional white subway tile is perfection. A touch of brushed copper is the perfect accent. The library style ladder not only adds to the charm and over all feel of the space…it is great for many of us that aren’t 6 foot tall : ) The greenery on the counter gives off an airy feel that is really lovely. The see through cabinets use regular every day items to bring them to life. It is all about how you pair your dishes and the how you stack them. Crazy how good they can look. Oh yes…let’s not forget about those two little furry cuties…talk about stealing the show! Come on over to Ciao NewPort Beach and take a closer look at Julianne Hough’s Kitchen and Home…trust me you will fall in love!
This stunning Contemporary Farmhouse Kitchen featured over at Heidi Callier Design is very sleek but still has that wonderful Farmhouse feel. There are not a ton of accessories her but the ones that are have been carefully chosen to lift this spaces personality. It’s magic what the right window treatment will do and the perfect rug. Add a simple bowl of beautiful pears and voila! I am personally in love with the open space and how the Gallery Wall appears as part of the “whole” space… what a stunning addition. My take away from this space… Less truly can be more and you can never go wrong with white Subway Tile!
I wanted to share this Farmhouse Kitchen Space from Country Living. It sports 2 primary accessories that put it into Farmhouse mode. First the beautiful wooden Range Cover and then the collection of eclectic Bar Stools which just puts everything over the top. Adding Farmhouse Style and Charm can be that easy!
This clean and crisp Kitchen over at Top Knobs is another great example of how a few Farmhouse Accessories can make a space! This beautiful streamline… modern Kitchen gets the Contemporary Farmhouse Vibe from an incredible Island… the amazing Sconce Lighting and the Greenery is the icing on the cake. Once again… we started with great bones and accessorized and that is when the magic happens! ps… I love Wood Floors but I have to say I am feeling this flooring… tons of fun!
You guessed it… this is a Joanna Gaines original Kitchen. Of course many of us can’t afford a creation like this one… but there are little accessory bits we can take and implement in our own Kitchens. If you have an end cap to one of your cabinets… think about adding some shelving to them. That way you can display all your Cookbooks and other Kitchen goodies. You could add shelving to the end of your Island also. It’s not shown here… but I am actually adding 4 IKEA Spice Racks to the side of one of my cabinets this weekend. Not only will it look nice with all the spices… it’s such a space saver all for about $50! Think about changing up your backsplash! Unique lighting is always a great idea and one of the simplest ways of adding a special touch. Let’s not forget the easiest accessory ever… a rug. Totally loving the way this one looks… it’s a pop of color and it ties the whole space together.
Well my friends… our last stop is going to be here at Little Yellow Wheelbarrow. Laura is sharing an incredible post on her beautiful Kitchen and I had to include it. Even though the 12 tips are all about Storage… many of the ideas act as an accessory to the Kitchen and heighten it’s charm and appeal. From her DIY Pot Rack which is amazing … to her DIY Open Wooden Shelving… this post is packed filled of DIYS and Ideas! You will be so inspired after you check everything out you won’t know what to do first.

I’m getting such great ideas for making our new house pretty but functional. I don’t love open shelves for everyday dishes, but DO love glass-fronted upper cabinets. I’m looking forward to showcasing my great-grandmother’s china and crystal. Keep the tips coming!
