Joe, Pete and I would love to wish you all a wonderful day! I know here in NJ we are getting a break from the horrific heat these next few days … how about you? We can’t wait to see what you all have been up to! It has been a bit crazy again this week.Trying to work through everything as all of you are! Joe did have a brain CAT Scan so I will keep you posted on that. I am trying to find really helpful tips for you in the blogging world that really work. I hope you have started the Pinterest tip because in the end I really think that it will have a positive effect! One thing I forgot to add to that suggestion about pinning was NOT to OVER PIN yourself! it can be very harmful so be careful with that ok!
My little tip today may sound weird… but it is one that I am goign to try to follow from now on! Perfection can be a dream-stealer. Your readers aren’t looking for perfect…they’re looking for you. Your creativity, your kind words, your ideas. So hit publish, even if the lighting wasn’t ideal or you’re not 100% sure on the font. Progress over perfection always wins in blogging.

Hi Steph! Always great to see you here! A ton of Farmhouse Goodness this week! Love it! Thank you for always sharing your creativity with us! Sending hugs and wishes for a wonderful week!
“Progress over perfection.” I appreciate that quote, Andrea – it’s one I will definitely remember and refer, too! Praying that you get good news following Joe’s CAT scan. Thanks so much for the party and especially for featuring our Week Seven post of our GRAND Summer Fun series! Have a wonderful weekend!
Hi Laura! Always great to see you and your smiling posts here! Please remember the quote… please… it has been a problem with mine and I struggle with it even now with trying to open my new etsy shop… I also have to remember that nobody is perfect lol!!! Sure hope you are having a wonderful weekend! Sending tons of HUGS your way!
Andrea, thanks so much for the visit, the link-up and the feature of my recipe! Have a wonderful week ahead, take care.
Hi there my friend! Thank you for the yumminess! Sending hugs and wishes for a wonderful week!
Hi Andrea,
I sure hope you are staying cool in this August heat. Thank you so much for featuring my Pink Lemonade Ice Box Pie, I really appreciate it! I am taking some down time from the blog for a couple of weeks. I will try to stop by and say hi. I am thinking after 15 years of blogging I need a little down time. Thanks for all the wonderful Fridays here with all of you!
Miz Helen
Hello Miz Helen. I am so happy to hear that you are taking some down time! You so need it, especially with all the health problems lately! I am just happy to hear that you might get a bit of a rest!!! Yes… 15 years of blogging deserves a break lol… I am almost to 15 too… Please take care of yourself … hubby and the little pup!!! Stay cool and enjoy your “me” time! Sending hugs and wishing for a wonderful week!
Thank you so very much for featuring my calligraphy post! Much appreciated! And your perfectionism advice resonated with me so much. I struggle with that! Thank you for the party!
Hi there Pam! You are so welcome! I struggle with perfectionism and it keeps me from doing things many times believe me! Keep trying to get over it… take baby steps… that is what I am doing! Good Luck :). Sending hugs and wishes for a wonderful week!
Thank you for sharing my Watermelon Slice Cookies. I always have a refrigerator log of them in the Summer, ready to slice & bake as needed. We only had 2 triple digit days of heat so far this year in North Texas (some close and some over with heat index) but that’s really unusual, especially with the amount of rain we’ve been getting (and the grass & flowers still in bloom). But I know the “other shoe will drop” in August!
Hi there Cindy! Well it sounds like you always have something yummy at you finger tips in your home!!! I personally am done with the heat lol!!! Sure hope August doesn’t bring you the extreme heat (hey… we can always hope right). You stay cool and keep on creating! Sending hugs and wishes for a wonderful week!
Hi Andrea, thanks so much for the feature for the thrifted tablescape. It’s such a pleasure to be able to connect with others interested in home decor, cooking, etc. I enjoy all the blogs and all your great tips. Have a lovely week.
