What is Take 5 you ask…well it is a collection of 5 things that I think you will all enjoy! It can be themed…random…food…crafts…home decor and everything in between. Hopefully you will love them enough to take 5 minutes out of your busy day… relax and enjoy! Today it’s all about Vintage Dramatic Vintage Vignettes
For those of you that love a dramatic vintage vignette…you have come to the right place!
Here are 5 vintage beauties…each a bit of a drama queen in their own right!
A gorgeous array of vintage silver with a touch of artwork…all arranged with precision on a silver tray…this vignette sure knows how to make an impression!
It is so much fun to play with all of your little treasures…finds…heirlooms…you just never know what you will be able to create with them…one this is probably for certain…it will look fabulous!
Now this one is fit for a King or more like Ernest Hemmingway. Aged wallpaper…vintage photos…a ship in a bottle…aged books and a typewriter that is waiting to tell a story.
It always amazes me that you can take a bit of this and a little of that and something magical happens. I would love to know the history behind each of these vintage pieces…wouldn’t you? Do you have some special pieces you would like to combine and create a fascinating vignette? It’s easy with a sprinkle of imagination.
What a wonderful way to create a whimsical vignette that is compiled by vintage frames and delicate artwork…a frame within a frame within a frame…very intriguing…oh so interesting and may I say very very pretty!
Here’s another hanging vignette. We have all seen this done with plates and vintage china. It is really stunning with gorgeous vintage silver trays…love the variety of shapes…sizes and pantina’s.
Do you have somethings you would like to hang on a wall?
Let your imagination soar!

I had to pin all of them – every vignette spot on for my style. I just wish my house really looked like that!

I love the patina of silver, polished or worn it looks timeless. I love combining it with the palest of pink. Beautiful post my friend xo

Hmm, I was just at a shop the other day coveting all the silver trays thinking I want them all but what would I do with them??? Well, DUH, a collection wall! I have the perfect spot now in mind! Oh and for those of you who might be wondering how to hang the odd shaped pieces, I saw at Hobby Lobby the other day these hangers that adhere to the back of whatever piece you intend to hang so you don’t need those metal plate hangers that are a son of a gun to attach to the piece anyway!

My heart leaps everytime I see a cameo wall portrait, and the layered frames are a beautiful setting for her.
I group mini portraits on a wall above my art desk as inspiration.
