Hey there everyone! How goes it! Well all the Fall Creations and Recipes are rolling out and it is the last day of August yet my thermometer on my garage is reading 101 degrees…I guess we are going to have to wait a bit longer for that crisp Fall Breeze (I would like it here today : )! Hope everything is going great for all of you!!! I also hope that all of you that love the Summer Heat enjoy the last days of Summer!
Now for a simple Blog Tip (you seem to like them so I will keep them coming until you say Uncle : ) My question to you is…are you creating many video? I know…it’s something you want to do more of (I am in the same boat)…so I am here to tell you and myself that we really need to do more of them. They predict that in the next 5-7 years 80% of all that we digest from the Internet will come from Videos…I personally thing the numbers won’t be that high…but one way or another…Videos are the It Thing!
Don’t stress…the videos do not have to be complicated (that’s my problem…I get these ideas in my head and I over complicate things…don’t take a page from my book). Your Videos should be at least 30 seconds long..a minute if fabulous for Videos that you are monetizing. Just to let you know…credits and opening logo does not count in the time…we are talking about active video. Be very aware of making your videos so they can be viewed on mostly all connections…so try to keep your files under 50mb per minutes. Your max size should not exceed 800mb…this will ensure that your readers can watch wherever they are and whatever device they may have. That’s a REALLY good thing! Be sure that your video shows your reader information that they can use to make the craft…decorate the room or whip up the recipe. Keep your video bright…friendly and to the point.
If you have a mac… the iMovie Program is great and its free! I really don’t know a lot about PC creations…but I have heard that Handbrake is excellent.
I can tell you first hand that Videos help you earn more money…they truly do. They are worth the investment of time and will continue to earn you money for years to come. So…what do you think??? Are you going to try to add a few more Videos to your blog? Even if it is one a month…they add up! Let’s take advantage of the future being predicted for us : ) More on this subject later!
Sending tons of hugs and love to all and now…Let’s Get This Party Started!
