Use Filtered Water
A great way to improve the taste of your coffee is to use filtered water. You will get a crisper and tastier cup of coffee for sure.
Best Ways To Store Coffee
Please use and airtight container
The container should be opaque and airtight , this way it protects the coffee bean from sunlight, and strong odors that can lesson the coffee flavor.
Cool and Dark Place
Please store coffee in a cool dark place such as a cupboard, cabinet or pantry. Keep away from heat sources because it truly speeds up the loss of flavor.
Avoid The Refrigerator
Most people think it is.a good idea but it is not. The fridge introduces moisture and odors which can ruin your coffee.
Grind Just Before Using
For fabulous cup of coffee, grind your beans fresh before using. This way all the natural oils and flavors are preserved right until the last minute so you get the best flavors possible.
Coffee Syrup
Did you know that you can make the most delicious Coffee Syrup with just a pan… coffee and sugar? Well you can! You can use it to make an amazing Italian Soda… drizzle on ice cream… add it to a smoothie… create a cocktail or cocktail and so much more! It’s quick … easy and DELICIOUS!!!
Coffee Simple Syrup
- 2 cups of Strong Coffee or Espresso or Strong Decaf
- 2 1/2 cups of fine Sugar (if you want to make sure your sugar is Vegan… Domino is your guarantee 🙂
- Simply combine the Coffee and the sugar in a small sauce pan and stir… bring to a rolling boil and… turn the heat all the way down and simmer for 15-20 minutes…
- take the pan off the heat and cool Then pour it into a glass mason jar or whatever you would like and keep in the Fridge for at least a month.
The MAGIC of Salt
Did you know that a tiny pinch of salt will remove the bitterness from any cup of coffee. It’s true but don’t over do it…try a teeny bit first… you can always add a bit more but you can’t remove it. I use a teeny pinch of Pink Himalayan Salt and it works perfectly every time but regular Salt or Sea Salt will work great!
(Just another little tip off subject… a pinch of salt in hot chocolate is AMAZING… also a little pinch of salt on Chocolate Ice Cream… just saying).
NUTELLA COFFEE
You know how hard it is to get the last bits out of your Nutella Jar? Well… why not just pour your coffee into the jar piping hot and shake shake shake and pour… YUM and the jar is ready for recycle! Of course… you can also add a big dollop of Nutella into your coffee if you are craving it now. You will not be disappointed.
SPICE UP YOUR COFFEE
You don’t have to pay a high price for fancy flavored coffees. Add a teaspoon of cinnamon… apple spice… pumpkin spice or any sweet spice combination you enjoy to your coffee grinds when making a pot of coffee… DELISH! You can also add it if you are making a single brew cup or if you are brewing in a French Press.
I don’t know if you love it hot and spicy… if you do… consider a pinch of cayenne and a heaping teaspoon of cocoa powder… this also works fabulously in hot chocolate.
COFFEE ICE CUBES
If you have left over coffee… why not make yourself some Coffee Ice Cubes! They are fabulous for so many delicious creations! Perfect for Iced Coffee… it will never dilute using these handy ice cubes! Wonderful to make a Frozen Coffee… I also whip up a try or two of Almond, Coconut, or any other Plant Based Milks and of course you can use Regular… then I add about 8 of each ice cubes… sugar to taste … maybe a spoonful of chocolate syrup… caramel or any of your favorite flavors and whip it in the blender and pour… add your favorite toppings and VOILA! Who needs those pricy coffees… you can become your own Barista and save big!
Vietnamese Coffee
For a real treat did you know you can make the popular Vietnamese Coffee in a snap!!! All you need to do is brew a delicious pot or cup of your favorite coffee … then add a big heaping dollop of Condensed Milk (Vegans… I am happy to announce you can get it here or get the recipe here) and then pour your piping hot coffee on top and slowly stir together… HEAVEN!!!
Making Your Garden and Plants Grow
Did you know that you can sprinkle your coffee grinds around your houseplants and they will add a ton of extra nutrients to the soil… hence helping your plants and flowers to become even healthier and more beautiful. Just keep those plants out of the Kitty’s and Pups way to be extra safe!
Making Face Scrubs

Hair Rinse
FOR DARK HAIR ONLY… brew yourself about 2 cups of coffee and after you wash… rinse… condition and rinse… pour the coffee over your hair and let it sit for a minute or two and then rinse… it will give you a nice shine!

Remove Foul Odors
You just need to place totally dried coffee grounds in an open jar or a sachet into the fridge or freezer and it will work on absorbing those nasty odors you hate.
