Alie want to thank everyone for caring about her and we are happy to report (knocking on wood) that she has a non-eventful week!!! YAY!!!! I actually ventured out of my house to go for my physical… I was not happy about it and scared out of my mind… left looking a bit crazy with my mask… my face shield… long sleeves and gloves for the elevator ride… with a hand sanitizer clipped to the ring on my bag lol!!! Hi Andrea – I am soooo glad to hear that it was an uneventful week for little Alie. My Dad’s sister passed so I went with him to the funeral. I personally wasn’t close to her, but it was good to be there for Dad. A social distance – mask wearing – no hugging funeral was a bit weird. But those are the times we are in.
Thank you so much for hosting! I always look forward to the party on Friday mornings. And thank you for the green bean feature!
Have a great week! Hugs, Holly

Hi there my friend! Alie sending you a big kiss for always thinking of her! So sorry about your Aunt… but I am glad you were able to be there for Dad safely. It’s nice that she at least got a send off… so many have not which is very difficult for the living. Sure hope you have an awesome day!!!! Sending tons of hugs…

Thanks so much for featuring my Easy Southern Pickled Okra! And also, wonderful news of a healthy doggie!
I had to laugh at your trip to the doctor, the face shield especially. That’s the one thing I haven’t seen outside the hospital, yet. You probably felt weird all decked out. I had a doctor’s appointment this week too. I wore my mask as required. No matter how many times I get out it all still seems weird to me. I was happy to see more people wearing masks this week, finally. Our numbers in the south are just terrible right now and cases are creeping closer and closer to us personally.
Everyone stay safe!

Hi there Melissa! You are very welcome!!! The Pickled Okra looks easy and wonderful 🙂 I am really happy to hear that people are finally wearing the masks more. It is something that I can not understand for the life of me… wear the mask… save lives… so simple you know!!!! I did feel a bit odd with the face shield … but hey… better safe than sorry for sure and I wore it through the entire exam too. The South has blossomed into a hot spot for sure… please stay safe!!! Sending tons of hugs your way and wishing you a fabulous day!
