Hi everyone. How goes it on Friday the 13th or Friday the 14th in my house…no kidding…I don’t use the number 13…even when I number my pictures for my blog I jump from 12 to 14! Today I will be spending my time right here in my home lol…I’m laughing but I admit to being totally superstitious! I am the one that if the Pitcher is pitching a perfect game or a no hitter I don’t move no matter what! But on the flip side…today is lucky because we get to see all of your new Creations…so YAY!!! So bring it on!!! We love you all!!!
Time for our Blogging Tip (it’s a little long but helpful : )
Blogging Tip for Today. Think about what Readers Complain about the most and then check your blog to see if you have some of those items and if they are worth having even though they might be considered a nuisance.
The 3 BIG things that annoy readers are:
Over-Pagination…such a many pages for one post…slide shows…etc… This is a HUGE change that I made over a year ago and it has proven to be the right thing to do. I had many slide shows but now I am all on one page no matter the length of the post. Believe it or not it has been beneficial all the way around and the readers are a lot happier. I always thought that people enjoyed them because I did…lesson learned : )
Pop-Up Ads… Readers get really annoyed when they have to click multiple times to finish reading a post. So give things a check and experience what your reader experiences and evaluate from there : )
Then of course TOO many ads will sometimes drive people away…be sure the ads on your site are vital and profitable. There are many ads that take up space and have no benefit…so take the time to evaluate.
Any thing that is taking up prime real estate on your blog should have amazing value to your audience…encourage readers to seek more content or contribute to your income. That is a good way to determine value.
I highly recommend you experience your own blog on a desk top…phone and tablet. It gives you a really good feel for how things are working and looking. Even though we work on our blogs all the time we rarely take a look at it the way others do : )
LET’S PARTY!!!

Now this is a post I have to read!
