Don’t let your doggie or doggies see this post or they will know that something is up? Or do you have a pup that loves the bath (lucky you). Baths for our best friends happen all year round but as the weather gets nicer and they are outside a bit more…baths are a more frequent thing. None of us like to use anything harsh on our pups so we here at The Cottage Market thought that it was a stellar idea to gather a collection of DIY Natural Dog Shampoos that will leave your doggie squeaky clean and smelling fabulously! All of the shampoos are natural and that is a good thing…plus you know exactly what it is in each and everyone of the shampoos! There is a wonderful oatmeal shampoo…a great shampoo created by the one and only Sweet Paul…how about an herbal selection that will leave your doggie smelling sweet and yummy! There is an oatmeal shampoo that helps that dry and itchy skin and then there is a bar soap for ease of use. So many to choose from and each one is just as great as the other. It is all about what you are looking for for your doggie. We know that you will find it here in this collection. Just don’t tell your doggie what you are up to…but in the end he/she will feel sooooooooo fabulous that next time they may not give you any resistance. Let’s get those pups clean and fresh! Oh…when you are finished bathing your doggie…maybe you could give him/her one of these!
Now that your doggie is all spiffed up…where will you be taking him/her? I think a nice long walk and some cuddling is in order…how about you!

Ooooh thank you! My boys are both filthy right now, and I don’t like to bathe them too often, especially with the soaps you can buy in the store that dry out their precious puppy skin! I love the idea of the homemade oatmeal bath and I am going to whip up a batch today and clean these hounds up! Thank you from me, Duke and Sonny!

Hi! Love the ideas!!! My goldendoodle, Mojo, love bathing but, as an active dog (to say the least!) he often gets knots in his fur, do you recommend a special recipe for detangling? I also am wondering, if I don’t use all of one batch at a time, is it safe to keep it for later? How and where (refrigerator?) Thanks!

These DIY dog shampoos look sooo promising but I cannot get to the recipes. The links keep taking me in circles and I can only get the pictures of the shampoos, not the recipes. HELP ! Thanks
Andrea says
Hi Jeanie! How are you. Most of the links work…what you have to do is hover over the name of the shampoo and then click…it brings you to the websites or blogs : ) I did just check them all and it seems as though a few blogs have gone away ; ( So I found a few more and I am including the links here for you so you can go check them out! You take care now…enjoy the day and hope these help your little pup out!!! Hugs…
