I know that Halloween is months away, but it will be here before you know it! I personally love decorating for this fun holiday but I usually do it more Kid oriented… but if you like to celebrate with a Farmhouse flair… the Queen of Farmhouse herself Liz Marie has some really cool suggestions! You can add a little BOO into your life very easily! Check them out. I am loving the Candy Cauldron!!!
Sound like Kim has her hands full with 3 cats and 3 dogs lol!!! As she says… chasing is a huge part of the day so she wanted her kitties to have a safe space to go to without the pups following them. BRAINSTORM … she came up with this super budget friendly… easy solution that you will see how to do when you visit. I personally think it is a fabulous way to take care of the problem at hand and allow the kitties to take their catnap in peace!!! Very home decor friendly too!
Coco is always adding special touches to her home and it is tons of fun to see what she is up to! Well… she likes to add a desk to each of her bedrooms and is sharing her newest addition to one of them today! I personally love having a desk in the bedroom… it can be so handy and looks pretty cool when it is something you adore to look at and personalize. Well of course her choice was soooooo her… just check out this mini office desk all rolled into one… FABULOUS!!! Makes you want to go look for your perfect desk doesn’t it! Then he shares the desks in the other rooms. Check them all out… great inspiration!
I know this is not about Home Decor but it is so important! I am actually going to be doing a post about living your life a bit more mindful and finding time for things you really want to enjoy. When I saw that Courtney’s Daughter was giving suggestions on how to take a moment of meditation I had to share and throughout the month she will be sharing more to help you. It doesn’t take much time at all… but it really will make you feel more connected and may just slow you down a little from your crazy life!!! It’s a short read but one that is really important. Everyone wants you to be the best and healthiest you you can be and this is a great way to start!!!
You are in for a treat! Marion is sharing her 1970’s Kitchen Renovation and I have to say it’s a WOW!!! There are Pages of pictures and everything is fun to look at. Of course when I came to the page with her new stove my heart started fluttering lol!!! One day I will have one of those! This is a post that I know you will enjoy because it is like flipping through a magazine. It’s fun to look at and if you get inspiration… BONUS!!!
You have to come and see Polly’s Room! It is so incredibly unique in every way… from fabulous wallpaper on all walls to interesting artwork… shutters and a shade instead of curtains… an eclectic mix of furniture and accessories plus an absolutely AMAZING bed and my favorite part is the crown overhead light… perfect for the child royalty in the house lol!!! Once again… this post is simply fun and inspiration can be found. I know that we will be making one of those doll house bookshelves really soon! I also LOVE the shutter and blind idea… you can change things up by painting the shutters or adding new hardware instead of getting new curtains… LOVE It!!! Enjoy!
Yvonne is her to share some of her favorite Home Decor DIYS! From Animal Print Book Covers (I love the idea and you can cover those books in everything from Marbleized homemade paper to wrapping paper with super heros on it for the kids or you… in other words… take that idea and run with it with your favorite look… such an inexpensive way to add a special personal touch! She also shares how to make woodbead garland… a Fall wreath and more! The no sew pom pom pillow is my favorite… going to make one of those only each pom pom will be a different color… take the idea and make it your own!
Well Kate is with us today and I adore her eclectic vibe with everything she does. Since we have featured some Kid spaces… I thought that Kate’s collection of Creatively Painted Walls for Kids would be fun to look at and who know… you just might get an idea or two! From stripes to multi color walls to murals… to rainbows and my FAVORITE which I would love to do in my studio/office space… sprinkle walls!!! There is also a ton more to see. Take a moment with a cup of your favorite brew and enjoy these unique and sometimes very BOLD choices. The great thing is… they all work and maybe one will catch your eye like the sprinkle wall did mine!!!
Our friend Katie is sharing some of her favorite ways she loves her home! From Decluttering … to adding house plants to shopping your home … focusing on what makes you happy and many other helpful tips and ideas… don’t miss it!
Ok… this is not Farmhouse by any means… but it does have stacks of books and many other touches that fall in that category lol!!! I had to share this Italian Hotel. When I saw it I was mesmerized by the entire space. Red White and blue is not my personal color palette but when mixed with every other color in the world it is pretty awesome! If you are someone that adores COLOR… you are going to have tons and tons of fun looking here… explore the whole place… there is a menu at the top of the page… go to it and look at all the sections. You will feel uplifted and happy. BTW… I Want the table and everything on it in my house someday… what a happy meal that would be I hope you enjoy it as much as I do… I would call it a Modern Art Masterpiece! If I ever revisit Italy again… this would be a dream to stay at wouldn’t it!
We all love Tea Towels but they can get really pricey … so why not make your own! Come and see how simple it is to add a stenciled design to a plain towel you can pick up just about anywhere! While you are at it… maybe make a few gifts!!! Can’t go wrong! The possibilities are endless.
It is always fun to see what Anika is up to and today she is sharing her new RV Bathroom Remodel! I love sharing this for so many reasons and one of the big reasons is that it shows you how much creativity you can use in such a small space! So for those of you like me that have a small Bathroom it gives me a moment to pause and rethink things a little… hope it helps you… either way it looks fabulous. If you haven’t seen the entire RV… do yourself a favor and visit after you check out this Bathroom!
You won’t believe how simple it is to create transfers with a vintage look! All you need are a few supplies! Turn those plain white pieces into something special in a snap! If you need some more black and white vintage images… don’t forget to hop on over to The Graphis Fairy… you will find a plethora of them!
I don’t know if you have noticed… but BEE’s… yes Bee’s are buzzing around every where in home decor lately… so if you love those little yellow and black cuties… you might like to look at this collections of DIYS and Ideas that incorporate the Bee Kingdom! I had to include this post because the Bee Hive Cake is just toooooooooo adorable not to share!!! BTW… if you haven’t picked up a copy of The Cottage Market’s BEE Kind Free Printable (our most popular one of all time)… get yourself one today and maybe share a few.
Thought you would like to see a Mini Reni that Joanna Gaines recently created… always fun to see what she has been up to! I personally love the wall papered wall around the double windows… adds so much pop to the space. Just think of the possibilities!!! I am thinking of doing that in my Living Room! Then there is another mini reni that all of you that love plants and the color green will adore! Have fun!
Need an Eclective Vintage Fix??? Well here you go! 8 Living Rooms with that gorgeous Vintage and Modern Vintage Flair! Some of the spaces are traditionally vintage and others mix newer vintage like Mid Century Monder and add a touch of modern artwork… tons of inspiration!

Lucy is always creating something amazing and her upcycle of an old lantern turned planter is amazing! She created a beautiful terrarium type planter that will enhance any space it is placed in. Bet you have an old lantern about… everyone seems to have a few IKEA ones at hand lol!!! If you don’t keep an eye out for one at the Thrift Stores and Flea Markets… a great way to add a bit of green to your home.
Well if you need some help mixing wood tones… our friends at Studio McGee have some great ideas and advice and even show us some samples! So… if this is something you struggle with … hop on over!
