Well our week of Gifts in a Jar continues and today we have a quick…easy and tasty little set of Fruit Flavored Sugars that anyone would be thrilled to get! You won’t believe how simple these are to make! You will be done in no time and you can make nice large batches so you have tons of gifts ready and waiting for family and friends! Just pour your sugar into little jars…place a FREE Printable Label on it and you are ready to go! Oh and did I mention…you should really make some of these for yourself! They are great for baking…terrific on the rims of drinks and picture perfect in tea..lemonade and so much more!

Let’s start with some zesty sweetness!
Lime Sugar
Ingredients
2 Organic Limes
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
Directions
Zest both Limes (avoiding the white pith)
Spread the zest out on a tea towel or paper towel and let air dry for about 6 hours
Then Mix the zest together with the sugar
Pour in jars
Place the label on top
Screw Tight
Store in a cool place for up to a month

Now it’s time to pucker up!!!
Lemon Sugar
Ingredients
2 Organic Lemons
1/4 cup of granulated sugar
Directions
Zest both Lemons (avoiding the white pith)
Spread the zest out on a tea towel or paper towel and let air dry for about 6 hours
Then Mix the zest together with the sugar
Pour in jars

Here is the perfect sugar for that morning cup of tea!
Orange Sugar
Ingredients
1 large organic orange
1/4 cup of granulated sugar + tablespoon
Directions
Zest the orange (avoiding the white pith)
Spread the zest out on a tea towel or paper towel and let air dry for about 6 hours
Then Mix the zest together with the sugar
Pour in jars

Here is my favorite and it lasts forever…but it WILL NOT LAST!!!!
Strawberry Sugar
Ingredients
1/2 cup of Freeze Dried Strawberries
1/4 cup of sugar + 1 tablespoon
Directions
Place the Freeze Dried Strawberries in a coffee grinder and grind fine (or use a food processor or place them in a plastic bag and roll with a rolling pin till powdered)
Mix with Sugar
Pour into jar
Place the Label on top
Seal tight!
