Are you all ready for a sweet and beautiful Home Tour today? One that is filled with hand painted furniture that is wonderful and amazing? Ok…you are in the right place! So grab your cup of something yummy and join me as we visit Danielle and her family at Finding Silver Pennies!
First I would love you to meet Danielle, the love of her life Luke and their 2 wonderful children John and Connor.
and of course the family pup POPPY! This fabulous family drove just about forever and rescued this precious pup…I would say Poppy is a LUCKY Puppy!
I think you will enjoy this tour. First we are going to drop by the families first home. One that is cottage fresh with a beachy vibe! Then we will take a peek at some of the fabulous painted pieces that Danielle has created (I know you are going to love this and this) and then we are going to visit the new home where things are in progress. We will be dropping by to see the new house when it is completed for sure! I think you will find it very interesting and probably can relate to what Danielle told me about decorating the new home…”So hard when you move and start again, but it is funny my style is kind of evolving.  Our new house is historic and I can’t be soooo beachy and modern, but I’m loving decorating it – with touches of the beach, some modern lighting and lots of salvaged and antique finds.  I’m planning on doing a gentleman’s living room with a chesterfield style couch and lots of antique books (but just have to find the right couch and the right price).” I am sure you can relate! Can’t wait to see what she does : )
Welcome to this loving families first home.
Welcome to the Living Room…a cottage fresh space!
An inviting room to enjoy family and friends.  The mantel during the Spring has a Nautical Theme and changed throughout the seasons.
You can almost feel the salt air!
Drop for more enchanting details.
You could sure tell when Spring had Sprung!
Had to share this beauty…Danielle also shares the fact that it is faux…pretty amazing isn’t it! I would never know ….but I know it is the ONLY kind of orchid that I could grow and in case you are of the black thumb disease…thought it was good to know in case you wanted to bring a touch of nature into the room!
The Kitchen is bright and airy like a summer day on the Mass Coast! I adore that the entire room is eclectic but is all tied together with a gorgeous blue…pops of crisp whites and oh those fabulous oars over the doors…LOVE it!
The Master Bedroom was very coastal also! The Handmade Headboard…FABULOUS and she shares the DIY and all of her inspirations.
One of the show stoppers in this room is also Isla the Dresser…She’s a beauty and was handpainted by Danielle! A bit of beach shabby! Don’t you love her.
Nautical takes center stage once again in this perfect little boys room! Anchors Aweigh!
It’s all about the accessories!
How about this distressed side table that Danielle created…perfect for this room…what a treasure! How cool is it that most of the furniture was Danielle’s growing up! Budget friendly and fabulous!

One thing is for certain…you are going to love visiting all of the fabulous Before and Afters and there is so much to see…learn and tons of inspiration. I really wanted to add this so you have yet another source to refer to while you are creating your own living space. The treatments that Danielle uses are cost effective but yet look simply amazing. So just keep all of this in mind when you are at that Flea Market and see a tired and used piece of furniture…discarded and ignored…adopt it…bring it home and give it love…it will pay you back ten fold…just like an adopted pet like Poppy…thank you Danielle and family for saving her…loving her and treating her as family…I love a happy ending!
Everyone here at The Cottage Market Family wants to thank Danielle and her wonderful family for having us over today…they were truly hostesses with the mostess. We have enjoyed seeing where you have been…where you are and where you are going with your style and flair! You can be sure we will be knocking on your door often! Just can’t wait for the next update…I know it will be amazing! Also we thank you for all of the incredible tips…tutorials and inspirations. I am sure when people see your gorgeous upcycled furniture…that chalk and milk paint will be coming out and some old pieces will become new and beautiful again!
