You know what is even more beautiful than Paris in the Spring Time? Christmas in Paris! There is just something about the hustle and bustle…the decorations…the late lunches at the cafe’s and the merry go round in lights right outside the Eiffel Tower. Ah…you can smell the French bread as the wonderful aroma wafts through the skies…Christmas in Paris is a wonderland of happiness. You have enjoyed the Shabby Chic Christmas…the I am Dreaming of a White Christmas and a Farmhouse Christmas…hope you will enjoy a little oooo la la!
A Winter day in Paris is no time to stay in doors…no matter the weather people are always milling around this gorgeous city.
With a little shoveling and preparations…this cafe will be serving lunches laden with brie, croissants and the most yummy hot chocolates and macarons.
Where ever you looks there are little bits of the Season Cheer.
Shiny silver balls on Christmas Trees and flowing fountains…how Paris!
The sun gets a little bit brighter and we see more and more of the holiday decor in every nook …cranny and side street.
Snow topped roofs glisten.
Even as you pass apartment doors…you are reminded that it Tis the Season!
The streets are now bustling with excitement…lots of shopping is happening but before that…I think a wonderful piece of hot baguette is a must!
Window shopping and all of its wonder!
Someone is getting ready to bring home the tree!
Ah the architecture plus the festive decorations just makes your heart sing!
A mall in Paris seems a bit more grand!
Looks like this lady had a very good shopping day…wouldn’t you say!
The perfect spot for lunch…I do believe lunch will be inside : )
After lunch…I think a pink gold gilded macaroon is in order!
How about a ride on the carousel…that’s Paris Perfect!
Oh…there is so much sparkle in this mall …A Swarovski crystal Christmas tree decorates the Galeries Lafayette department store in Paris for Christmas and New Year’s celebrations!
The sun begins to set and the twinkling lights go on and even MORE magic begins to happen!
For many it is time to take their walk back to their warm and cozy homes.
Window shopping still has a dreamy appeal in the evening hours
All of the restaurants are serving up delicious French Fair…oh so inviting!
Life is like a present wrapped in a bow!
Maybe a winter coat and a roof top dinner!
And the magic starts all over again as the evening is in full swing and the sow begins to fall…ahhhh…Christmas in Paris.
You may not be able to make it to Paris this Christmas…but maybe this little visual trip will make you feel like you stopped by for a croissant or two! ; )
