There are so many uses for Lemons it is kind of unbelievable! Today I am sharing 15 of my Favorite Fabulous Ways To Use Lemons and I sure hope you enjoy them! Now pucker up and enjoy!
My favorite way to use a lemon has to be to wash my hands and finger nails! By rubbing it on your hands and digging your finger nails into the flesh of the fruit that is left…you will have the cleanest hands ever! This works great after cooking…gardening or anything messy : )
Don’t know what to do with the squeezed lemons you have? Put them down the garbage disposal to freshen things up!
Want to keep those apples, avocados and other fruits and veggies their natural color and avoid browning? Just squeeze some fresh lemon juice on them!
Lemons can be a great stain remover. Just try to get as much of the dirt out and then take some lemon juice and cover the stain well. Then scrub it with some Kosher salt, then pop it in the wash.
If you feel as though your breath can use some freshening up…gargle with some lemon juice and you will be freshened up in a snap!
Want to give your faucet a quick and easy shine? Simply rub them with some lemon peel…wash and dry with a soft cloth…then give it a buff!
Lemons are your friend especially when it comes to cleaning your cutting boards. I clean mine after each use with 1/2 of a lemon and a teaspoon or two of Kosher Salt. Scrub the salt with the lemon and then rinse. Or if the board was just used for veggies…just rub with a lemon then let it dry naturally.
Pour 2 tablespoons of Lemon and 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar in to 1 cup water…put it in a spray bottle and use to spray your fruits and veggies and then rinse!
Are your elbows a little rough? Just rub a bit of lemon on them and it will help with that…continue this and the problem will be gone and they look fresh! As you know sometimes there is a little bit of discoloration under the arms, well this trick works there too!
Need to remove some stains from your Coffee Pot? Add a few tablespoons of lemon juice, a tablespoon of Kosher Salt a few ice cubes and a tablespoon of water…stir it lightly around and then rinse with warm water once the stains are removed.
You can freshen up some of your lightly tarnished silver by dipping a cloth into Lemon Juice and rubbing the tarnish off and then of course rinse.
A quick and easy way to freshen up the Fridge is by (of course getting rid of any older items that might be causing the odor) and then add the juice of a lemon to a sponge and place it in the Fridge for a few hours or over night! It should give it that freshness you love.
Lemon is ALWAYS a good idea when it comes to adding freshness and health benefits to your ice water or seltzer.
Save those lemon peels…orange peels … lime peels…even grapefruit peels…pack a Mason Jar Filled with them then fill up the container with White Vinegar. Shake it up…put it in a cool dark place for about 2 weeks. The simply drain the peels out and put the liquid into a spray bottle. What a great natural cleaner!
When in doubt…MAKE LEMONADE!!!
