Let’s start with the Espresso Syrup which is absolutely heavenly…simple to make and the awesome thing about it is you can make it in all different flavors. I was asked by Gourmesso Coffee to sample some of their delectable Espresso and I just couldn’t resist and I was really happy I did! Oh the flavors were crazy yum and that is when it struck me …I could play mad scientist and mix some of the flavors together! I took their Caramello Espresso and combined it with Chocolate Soffio …let me tell you it was a perfect marriage!

I brewed 3 espresso capsules of each flavor…then I had to brew another one because I drank one while I was doing it (couldn’t resist the aroma!!!).

–
Then I combined the 2 brews and put them in a small saucepan…then I added the sweetness to the brew…
–
–
–
brought the mixture up to a boil and then a slow slow simmer for 15 minutes…took it off the heat and allowed it to cool!

So happy that Gourmesso asked me to try their delicious Espresso…they sent me a nice selection and a Nespresso Coffee Maker…but the opinions are ALL mine!!! The expresso is perfect…easy to make and takes you to the streets of Florence in your mind.
One you make this syrup…you are going to want to use it on everything…flavor your sodas…create a new drink from it like a chocolate caramel martini…or your new favorite ice cream syrup and so much more. Enjoy experimenting with different flavors and of course…just sip and enjoy!
