How To Bring Eggs To Room Temperature

How To Make Gluten Free Oat Flour

Now this one I use ALL THE TIME..I use it in chocolate chip cookies…dog biscuits…pancake batter and so much more…you will want to try this if you haven’t all ready!  Oh I also make actual oatmeal with the ground version because my family loves the taste of oatmeal but they don’t like the consistency…so I grind it and it comes out smooth and creamy (I like the lumps : ) lol!  You need to try this…it is great!  All you do is put it in the food processor or blender…fire it up for a good minute or two and VOILA!!!  Drop by Momables for storing ideas and more!

Wine Bottle As A Rolling Pin

It WORKS!!!  Really…a simple wine bottle can make a great Rolling Pin!  Now I have my own little tip with this one…you know how you need to keep your pie crust COLD…well fill up the empty clean wine bottle with ICE WATER and it will be a true blessing when making pastry dough.  It’s just like the expensive glass rolling pins that you can fill but it costs NOTHING!  Oh…by the way…it WORKS : )  If you want a rolling pin with more weight…you can fill the bottle with a few pounds of dry lentils or beans to add weight…LOVE IT!

Using Chopstick To Measure The Thickness Of Your Dough

Need Ripe Bananas for a

Delicious Bread or Muffin but yours are NOT Ripe?

Make your own by putting bananas on a lined baking sheet and baking at 300F for 30 to 40 minutes. They will turn a serious shade of charbroiled, but that’s what you want. Let them cool for 20 minutes, snip off one end and squeeze out your ‘overripe’ bananas into a bowl!
