Town and Country : Jennifer over at Town and Country has a gorgeous farmhouse that you will totally enjoy and she shows us in her kitchen how open shelving can create a fresh and fabulous Farmhouse look. Adding your favorite pitchers…dishes…etc…you can create a spacious feeling in any room in the house.

.
The Old Painted Cottage : How perfect is this Farmhouse space featured over at The Old Painted Cottage. It brings in so many different elements to create one gorgeous cohesive Farmhouse space. From the distressed windowed cabinets to the vintage china…plates…aged sign …old glassware and more come together and create such charm and character. A space likes this gives you even more permission to buy all of those treasured vintage goodies while you are thrift store shopping. All of these pieces were meant for each other.
.

.
Lilla Blanka : Bringing in some live greens is always an excellent touch and to elevate it just a bit more…place the greens in vintage style items just like Lilla Blanka did with her small tree in a white enamel pail…doesn’t it look amazing along with the plant in the tureen. Such an easy way of adding a special Farmhouse touch to your home.
.

.
1 Life Inspired : A quick and easy way to add Farmhouse charm is by stacking old crates together and then to bring it up yet another notch…add some fresh flowers. This will create a beautiful vignette any time of year and you can also celebrate the seasons with the blooms of the season.
.

.
Flower Garden : Does anything say Farmhouse Fresh better than a simple enamel pitcher and bowl? But when it is placed on a distressed chair…filled with beautiful wild flower blooms…accompanied by some vintage linens and handmade soaps…well it reaches all new farmhouse heights. Ok…the clawed bath tub doesn’t hurt either 🙂 Visit the Flower Garden for more inspiration.
.

.
Tidbits & Twine : Another way of bringing Farmhouse charm to a space is by adding vignettes made from your special collections…Just like Frog Goes to Market did here combining all of her vintage rolling pins in a ceramic crock…stacks of wooden bowls and more. It’s a personal and special touch that looks picture perfect!
.

.
Pinterest : Vintage signs are a special way of adding some Farmhouse charm to your space just like one is proudly dispelled on the open shelving that goes around half of the room…there is so much inspiration in this one photo it is incredible. Vintage canisters…fresh blooms…vintage seltzer bottle in the most delicious blue shades and so much more. All easy ways of getting the look and may I add…all fun to collect. You can search for vintage signs or maybe make your own. No matter which you choose…the results will be wonderful.

Hey! I love your perspective on farmhouse style! I saw where Gina from Shabby Creek Cottage shared this post on FB and had to check it out. I’ve spent quite a bit of time researching ways for my readers to get the “Fixer Upper” look for less by creating “Shop the Look” posts on my blog. I’d love you to check it out!

Thank you so much Angie! I so appreciate that coming from you…the Queen of Vintage Fabulousness! Sending hugs and wishes for a picture perfect New Year!
Oh I would love to find one of those vintage jar racks! I have SO many leftover mason jars that my grandma left behind when she passed on and I’ve been doing everything I can with them! However, my biggest problem is finding a safe and nice place to store them, that jar rack would be perfect. Thanks for such a lovely list! We made our island out of an old radio stand (grandmashousediy.com/red-kitchen-island/) but that wash tub is really something to drool over.
Hi there Tarah! How are you! I love the bookshelf you created from the old radio…looks fabulous! I have to mark that for one of my upcycled collections : ) Sounds like you got one amazing mason jar collection…that is so sweet to have all of your Grandmother’s treasures. Well I knew I had seen one and I found it…this might be just what you are looking for… http://www.paintedfoxtreasures.com/products/metal-wall-rack-1 sure hope that helps you find a safe place for the jars : ) You take care now and here’s wishing you and yours the most wonderful NEW YEAR ever!!!! Hugs…
