Over at Shabby Grace she is going to show you how to take a Thrift Store Muffin Pan…give it a coat of your favorite color paint…it instantly becomes a desk organizer…fill each compartment with thumbtacks to paperclips.
Have you ever thought of using a Muffin Tin as a Paint Palette? They are perfect for it! The only thing I might do is add a paper lining to each compartment for even easier clean up! A great idea from All Things Simple.
I LOVE this one…what a great way to serve the kids a snack with no muss or fuss. Just get yourself a Dollar Store Basket and place a 6 muffin tin at the bottom…great for holding drinks and perfect for little snacks (just add paper or silicone liners for each clean-up). OMG…I just love this one by Ann Marie Loves! What a perfect succulent planter! Fabulous for any Style Home…but awesome for Farmhouse…don’t you think. You can even give it a weathered paint treatment and then seal it! Don’t forget to drill a hole at the bottom of each compartment before planting…Ann Marie also have one more tip to make this the perfect planter…check it out!
Child Mode is certainly in “Child Mode” with this great snack Muffin Tin! Fill it with all kinds of yummy treats for the kids…the compartments hold just enough and not too much : ) Like I said above…add paper linings to everything for super easy clean-up. Just think of the possibilities!!!
Here is a GREAT idea over at SF Girl By Bay…if you are lucky enough to find a vintage Muffin Tin…just by adding votive candles you have a great accessory! Even if you don’t find a vintage one…you can use any style…leave it as is or give it a paint treatment. It is also fun to fill the muffin tin half way with items like coffee beans…lentils…corn…and then put the candle in the middle and imbed it a bit. Looks great and I can speak first hand…when you use coffee beans…it smells heavenly!

Preheat that over to 325 and POP a tray of eggs in there for about 30 minutes…place in a bowl of ice water to cool and then peel (put them in a tupperware and shake shake shake…hard and then open it up and those shells should come right off!) This such a great little hack to make your mini baking easier. It’s so simple and brilliant I have no idea why I never used it before! I am going to use it even when I made mini muffin pecan pies or tasty cookies…it’s great for any item! OPSD just tells you to cut strips of Baking Parchment Paper into strips and place at the bottom of the pan…that way when your item is cool it will come right out with no muss or fuss…BRILLIANT!
Another BRILLIANT Idea…Mini Taco Bowls…so easy…so quick and no frying! I am going to make these for sure! Mini Salads…great vessels for dips like Guac and MORE. I don’t know about you…but I use a lot of Lemon Ice Cubes…I am a bit addicted to Seltzer…so these fruity ice cubes are perfect for me (put whatever fruit you want in them) Using a mini Muffin tin or a regular sized one is so easy and they last longer than the average size ice cube. The regular size muffin tin ice cubes are FABULOUS for Pitchers of Iced Tea…Water…Seltzer…or how about a Pitcher of Sangria! Just freeze and then slip them into a nice sealed container of ziplocks! I’ve definitely bought them as a painter’s palette and used them as condiment trays at BBQs. If you sit the muffin tin in a shallow dish of room temperature water it’ll also keep the bugs / ants from getting into the condiments. 🙂
