Some times the day just calls for something pretty! So today I have compiled over 30 Cute Cottage Kitchens for you to take a peek at…enjoy and be inspired by. Some are Grandma Sweet…some are Cottage Chic and some are full blown WOW…I have a feeling that there is something here for everyone. So just sit back and enjoy. I know that you are going to want to go out and buy some new kitchen towels at least…but then you might get the inspiration bug really bad and have to run out to the nearest flea market for some awesome treasures…maybe a vintage scale! : ) Have fun and enjoy!
Let’s start with one of the most precious little kitchens I have ever seen. You can actually smell the cherry pie baking in the oven!
A collection of vintage jars…seltzer bottles…a fabulous vintage look sign…an adorable canister collection and loving details just pull this kitchen together and create an adorable down home feel.
Doesn’t get much cuter than this one.
Pretty details bring such warmth into a kitchen…they don’t have to be vintage…there are so many wonderful accessories out there that are brand new but have that antique flair. This little display is the perfect example!
Here is a little peek at a Scandinavian style Cottage Kitchen…I love seeing how others interpret the flair. The lines are clean and almost modern but still have the warm family friendly feel.
White always seems to make an appearance in the Cottage style kitchen and it is always wonderful!
Speaking of white…I had to share this stove with you because I think it is magnificent! Who wouldn’t love this beauty in their kitchen and I wouldn’t mind the cutie in front of it either!
Here is a perfect place to sit…chat over a cup of coffee and a homemade donut! Oh the ruffles on that red check table cloth are just too adorable!
That is one amazing sink…but with the addition of simple fabric panels and mix and match ceramic tiles…you feel right at home. I am going to call this European Cottage : )
I know you have seen this kitchen before…but it fits the definition of so many styles…so why not share it again because it sure does say Cottage! So many different patterns but yet they all seem to cohesively blend together. This is such a warm and loving happy place…I bet a lot of yummy tarts and cookies are baked here…there are some waiting on the island for us.
Pink and white are a winning combination in a Cottage Kitchen.
Love the chair railed wall paper and the crisp white moldings and cabinets. Everything is kissed with the prettiest of dishes and accessories…almost Candy Land like.
I now feel like baking…how cute is this?

This cottage kitchen starring the color pink happens to be a celebrity kitchen…Kirstie Alley is the creator of this pretty space.
Let’s take a closer peek at the little details of the Kirstie’s space.
Yep…details make such a difference…don’t they!
I know that it is not a kitchen…but when I found Kirstie’s kitchen…I saw her living room and had to share…it is just too cottage fresh not to!
Ok…back to kitchens : ) Here is a galley style cottage kitchen that opens into the eating space. It appears so roomy though with the use of pretty pastels…love the appliances!
Simple vintage pieces of furniture and of course the power of paint turn this kitchen into a cozy little space.
Chippy worn tin signs seem to shine in this Cottage kitchen along with cabinets worn with the hands of time and love. Oh yes…details…details!
With a white base…you can add any selection of colors…here is a great example on how a combination of sherbet shades say WELCOME…Coffee’s on!
Sorry Mom…stripes do go with other patterns : )
Now here’s another kitchen that appears in so many collections of styles…It is really a Cottage Kitchen canvas and you can your own flair. The mint green and bright white molding are just gorgeous.
What do you think…these would be a great addition to any cottage kitchen!
Here is one of my favorite cottage accessories ever and you can find it over at A Sort of Fairy Tale
Talk about accessorizing!
Little nooks in the kitchen are just so much fun…I bet you can get nice and cozy right here…what a great place to chat with the chef!

A classic white kitchen is like a little black dress…it can take on your personality. with the simple addition of the drapery bottom under the farmhouse sink…the room gives off that cottage feel…now if you use a completely different set of accessories…it can take on a new persona…so much potential and so many opportunities to try on different styles.
Again, a lovely white kitchen that uses a white base…with the addition of some burlap…wall art…chalkboards it takes on a warm feeling that leaves you wanting a freshly baked loaf of bread.
Simple…basic…and perfect.
Now here is a collection that would make any cottage kitchen smile…
Cozy and bright…a perfect cottage eating space!
How inviting is this kitchen…with the painted beadboard…glass cabinets…mint green everything and a pops of pink it creates such an inviting feel.
Oh so down home…a collection of odds and ends collected along the way…and they all live harmoniously together in this loving kitchen.
Turquoise and Red are a winning combination in a cottage kitchen!
Black and white and red all over screams cottage style…add a few roosters and you are home free!
Decorator Sasha Emerson gives a funky fresh view of a cottage kitchen…her own! Adding some “popping art” almost in the style of Warhol and adding very interesting accessories and furniture she gives a vibrant feel to her space…do yourself a favor and check out the special on her cottage downsize adventure over at Country Living! She puts a refreshing spin on the style.
Let’s do a little math…add a little shabby and a bit of chic and it equals a cottage style kitchen!
Now here is a take on a cottage kitchen…Sarah Richardson style.
Taking her collection of ceramics in blue…she added some fabulous blue barn wood and she had a great start on this beautiful cottage kitchen setting.
and the eating space is as gorgeous…

Andrea – you do such a great job with these collections! I love reading them! If you don’t mind, I’ve shared this one on my facebook page (organically opulent) b/c I liked it so much.
Please let me know if you mind me sharing these on occasion and I will remove them. This was the first I’ve shared. I can only imagine other people, much like me, would love to see it too!
Thanks,
Cortney
