Pretty Candles
Perfect for the Holiday season…

Perfect for the Holiday season…

Let’s start with the supplies…pretty taper candles of your choice…any color…any size…any shape…some pretty card stock or vintage pages…pretty ribbon or cording…some lovely embellishments and glue.
First cut your paper so it is able to wrap around your candle with about 3/4″ extra so you can over lap and glue the seam closed.
Now wrap your candle and then run a stream of hot glue…over lap and press till seam is closed…it looks almost seamless.
Take the ribbon or cording of your choice and and measure around the candle and cut to size.
Now attach the cording around the candles…on mine here I did it 3 times…it’s all up to you. If you cut the pieces just so and glue that the ends meet each other…it looks perfect.
Time to glue your embellishments on…I used a filigree base and then glued a resin flower to it’s center and then attached it to the middle cording…you can also put smaller embellishments on the other two or leave plain…all a matter of taste…
The embellishment possibilities are endless…create them for all different occasions…holidays and for everyday…hope you have fun!
These would be perfect on the mantle!
I wrapped these in vintage dictionary paper…wrapped with burlap…added ribbon and the flowers…
personalize with any color of your choice…
A neutral palette is always a wonderful choice…
Fabric is always a great choice and like I always say…the choices are ENDLESS…whatever you choose…let your creativity burn brightly!
