Well… I do have a health update for you. First… I need more surgery on my stomach … working on the ulcers and such… I will be in the hospital for 10 days and I go in on February 23rd… I am there so long. because I need extra attention to my blood. I have to be on an IV blood thinner due to my mechanical mitral valve (for those that don’t know… I have a hereditary heart disease and have had open heart where the mitral valve was replaced with a mechanical one which requires a constant thinner… it’s a bit complicated and needs to be closely monitored. Now on to Joe. This one is a hard one… on Friday he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. He is being weened off his medications that he is on now for Tourette and then he will begin the new medications gradually. We will be doing everything possible along with dealing with hit in the here and now and preparing for the future. If I could ask a favor… please send any good vibes… thoughts… and prayers to him. We love you all dearly and appreciate each and every one of you! A slice of good news… our little Alie after 9 months of a constant supplement and medication and IV fluids three times a week just got the results of her latest blood test and everything is working beautifully!!!! We just have to keep this regiment up for the rest of her life which I hope is a long one! YAY Alie… one tough little pup… now her sister has to get her check-up…fingers and paws crossed. We love you all and appreciate you all! Sending hugs and love!
