Thank you Andrea for your Morning Cup of Joe – and sharing how your heart acted up Christmas Eve. Went online to read more about Afib – Hope you are feeling more ‘Andrea’ as the days proceed.
Hugs.

Hello sweet Joy! How are you my friend and a very Happy New Year to you. How sweet of you to check Afib out. It is different in people… mine just happens to be very dramatic… and prevents me from functioning. I had an ablation if you recall last December and we were really hoping that that did the trick… but unfortunately not. It is just scary and of course the possibility of stroke is always there and I have no use for that lol!!! A lot stems from my hereditary heart disease hypertrophic cardiomyopothy and of course the extensive open heart to removed the hardened piece of my heart and a crushed mitral valve… so I consider myself lucky : ) Not sure what the next step is… but I will take it one step at a time. Thank you for caring! Sending you tons and tons of hugs and wishes for all things good!
Hello sweet Joy! Thank you so much for thinking of me! Feeling a bit better now and just hoping and praying that it does not come back for awhile! Sending tons of hugs and love to you as always Joy!!!
Happy New Year Andrea I hope you are feeling better and enjoying the new year.
Thanks for hosting. I left a New Year frame and a year in review. Make it a great year. MM @Coastal Bohemian
I am sorry to hear your ablation didn’t work. I, too, have developed afib (hereditary, high-dose chemo, and radiation 20 years ago; it is scary! Hugs, prayers and best wishes are coming back to you.
I especially enjoyed the fireplaces in the decorating after the holidays post, and I must make my Pippin some gingerbread treats.
Hi there Debra. How are you. Sounds like you have been through the ringer and my heart goes out to you. Sorry that Afib has entered into your life. Are you aware of all the ways you can try to help it? If you would like to know more… just drop me an email at TheCottaageMarket@gmail.com I would be happy to share. So happy you enjoyed the posts! I am sure Pippin would LOVE some treats! Hugs and wishes for a wonderful day!
Dear Andrea, I hope you’re on the mend! Take care of your health, everything else can wait. If it makes you feel better, I’m behind too as you can tell by how late I’m to the party.
Thank you for featuring my plum tart, using fillo pastry for the crust makes it healthier as it has fewer carbs than the traditional tart crust. 🙂
Hugs and healing prayers!
Hi there Jas! How are you. Thank you for your concern. I am laying low for the time being. Still doing my 12 hour day of work… but trying to chill on a few other things. Trying to play it safe. To be honest with you… I thought this chapter was over and I might be guilty of doing too many things and in turn aggravated it to the umpf degree! By the way… the TART WAS DELISH!!! Had to make it and the Fillo was fabulous. My regular Farmer’s Market happened to have a great batch of plums which are really hard to find this time of year here in New Jersey. I LOVE plums and the Tart made me happy lol!!! You take care now and here’s wishing you a fabulous New Year! TTYS… hugs…
