Hi there friends! How did your first week of the New Year go? Better than those in Washington DC I hope! Our first week was ok… just really busy and Miss Alie had to go to The Vet for Fluids and tests… she now has another UTI… they say that the UTI and Pancreatitis are chronic… so it can pop up any time… so we are and always did watch her like a hawk. I will keep you posted… but for now… she is playing and happy with her sister Georgia! Well we can’t wait to see what you have for us for us today! I am sure everything is wonderful as usual! Hi Andrea –
Well, that didn’t last long. Ugh. Fortunately, Hubby was already home from the Pentagon and is working from home the rest of the week. There was an armed robbery (break-in, set fire to the house, and stole the car) in our safe little neighborhood… from a 13-year-old!!! This world has truly gone mad. I’m so thankful Hubby is home and we are safe.
In other strange news, we both think we are allergic to Hannibal. Double Ugh. We were fine the 2 months we kept Josephine (fawn pug) but I guess his dander is different. I’m getting tested next week and we’re doing the things to make it more manageable (I spy a new blog post from this experience). Nothing will stop me from snuggling with my baby 16 hours of the day!
Sorry to hear about Ali and her UTI. You are such a good Mamma for this special pup. Sending extra love to you this week!

THANK GOD he is ok!!!! So happy he was home and not in DC with all that is happening! What a disgrace Wed. was… so glad he is safe! OMG… an armed robbery… a 13 year old… are you kidding me! OMG!!! This world is going mad… it really is! Nothing seems right!!! Thank God you are all safe!!! OH NO… I can’t believe it… allergic to the puglet!!!!! PLEASE let me know what the tests show and I am positive… in fact I am SUPER positive that you will find a natural way that will get you both through this situation! I do smell a great blog post for sure!!!! Alie is a trooper! I just hope she gets a little break soon! She is such a happy doggie though God bless her! I totally hear you… embarrassed… upset…disillusioned but NOT surprised… I hated this presidency from day one and knew that it would just continue to get worse and even with only 13 days left when it happened… it happened!!! Hi there Marie! How are you! Oh yes… we are on a SHAKY start for sure! What transpired here in the US on Wednesday was a DISGRACE!!!!! An absolute Horror Show and to be honest… I think it is being taken to lightly! This should never ever ever have happened and this man has been given so many chances it’s ridiculous. I try not to get too political on the blog (I AM in real life though 🙂 and I am sure you can tell what side I am on… but I am not afraid to say anything here any more because things have GONE TOO FAR and he has to pay for what he did…I mean really! This country also has to treat all terrorists the same way and that sure didn’t happen! I am just waiting to see what transpires this weekend… he has to leave the office and be banned from ever being in politics again! I am not surprised about any of this… I knew no good could come of this presidency from the beginning! Our Covid is crazy… California… someone is dying every 8 minutes. So sorry that Canada is feeling it also. When is it going to end!!!!! We need leadership… we need continuity… we need everything we haven’t had for 4 years! Phew… sorry for the rant but I am sure you know what I am talking about! If it weren’t for my Doctor… we could be neighbors… that is how fet up I am with this!!!! Hope you are well and staying toasty… PLEASE stay well and stay safe!!!!!!!!! 🙂
