Hi there friends! How are you. I want to thank you all for your notes… you are just the best bunch ever and I am happy to have you as part of our family. Also thank you for being so open… I really really appreciated that. I also want you to know that we never ever wanted to close the party… I personally wanted to ask all of your opinions because I didn’t want to keep running it if you all didn’t think that it was relevant any more. I certainly know your opinions now : ) I am thrilled that you all love coming here and feel comfortable… that makes my heart and Joe’s very happy! One of her family members left a comment that I truly want to address… she said she loves it here but sometimes feels out of place because the blog is so heavily weighted on the Farmhouse Style. Yes… she is right lol!!! But I love ALL STYLES… in fact I am much more Eclectic in my home decor than Farmhouse. Every style of home decor… every kind of Craft from Children’s Crafts to Crochet… every Recipe (even though I am a Vegetarian that is going Vegan) is WELCOME!!! You are ALL WELCOME ALL the time with everything you create (of course family friendly : ) So please never hesitate to share your creations. Variety is the spice of life!!! So… I want you all to know that you are ALL loved… treasured and considered part of a loving family here at The Cottage Market. You are all so very important to us and we look forward to seeing you each and every week. I originally start this party for people to share their Thrift Store Finds… it was called Junkin Joe at that time. While running errands on Saturdays my husband (aka Joe : ) would stop at the Thrift Shop once a week and I would share his finds. Then everyone would join in with theirs! Then the blog grew and grew and grew and we switched it around a little bit to have other creations come in and renamed it. Just thought I would fill you in case you were wondering : ) I will have to tell you the original reason I started the blog if anyone is interested… it is a unique reason : ) Sending you ALL TONS AND TONS OF HUGS!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!
My blog tip for you today: Please make sure you update your plug-ins on a regular basis… it’s very important. I personally did not update my WordPress for a long time because I didn’t want to switch over to 5.0 and the Gutenberg Method. Well it caused problems and ultimately it was updated after 10 hours of blog hell (lol… I can laugh now). I am admitting openly that I am not yet ready for the Gutenberg Method even though it is fabulous… but I have had a little too much change lately soooooo I found and official WordPress Plug-in that switched me back to the old style… YAY!!! I will get to learning the new method… but for now all is good. So if you haven’t updated because you didn’t want to change… NO FEARS!!!! Here is the Classic WordPress Editor that will restore the old format.
Ok… I have talked to much so…..
