Morning to you! Hope everyone out there is doing great. It’s Friday and time for yet another peek at some new additions to a growing collection of interesting items! This week a few very different pieces joined the shelves…and some that have found a permanent home!
I will just let you take a look at them… without further ado…
The Adventures of
Junkin Joe !!!
Well this little cutie pie hopped into the cloth bag of surprises…
this little guy just says SPRING and will be staying in his new home…not hopping anywhere else!
A wonderful American vintage beauty has adorned us with her presence…
ruby red and gold trim to accentuate her beauty…
and a beautiful bouquet of shabby…oh so chic flowers…picture perfect!
Roses seem to be plentiful in this collection of treats…
oh so very pretty in pink and cream…
yet another new member of the family : )
hmm…different than the usual traveler that finds it way to our home…where is she from?
here aged face seems to tell a story of an interesting life and a well lived and worked one indeed…turns out that she is from Spain…a collectible made in the late 70’s…she even had her tag and someone else that she traveled with her…
I am sure that this is her husband and I have a feeling that they worked all of their lives…maybe making small batches of wine and loving couldrons of delicious food for a large family of great children…one thing I am sure of is that their lives were lived fully! Junkin Joe this is a very interesting find…we will find the perfect home for this couple to live out their lives : )
Well my eyes lit up when I saw this beauty standing tall…
whatever angle I looked at…she was gorgeous…
each little nook and cranny made me smile…
check back next week…she is going to get a little make-over and get all prettied up for you to see her at her finest…you guessed right…she is not going anywhere but here!
Then this elegant trio from the 50’s came into the house…
triplets that looked like they were so very ready to
serve some delicious retro cocktails…
maybe some pink squirrels and green grasshoppers will be poured in these fabulous slightly tinted beauties…they are just so cool!
Well Joe just seems to always come home with some cups…
a pure burst of retro color and they brought friends…a matching creamer and sugar bowl…
the salt shaker traveled alone those but still happy to be with her family of flowers so…
how did Junkin Joe stack up this week? He loves your comments so if you have a moment…drop by and say hi and I will tell him you did!
Next week at Junkin Joe we will be debuting some new treasures and little make-overs…simple but fun!
Till tomorrow…
tons of
(((HUGS)))
to all!
side note: you know the wordy things we all have to decipher to leave a comment? has anyone noticed that they are getting more and more difficult and annoying or is just me…the last few days they have been in broken type — black type — then white type in black background — gray and grungy…grrrrr…I just got one and guess what it said when got through the obstacles…are you in agony and i just type in YES!!!! ok — my little rant is over : ) hugs…
Well, Joe, you had another great week and you’ve made your bride very happy indeed – good job! That three-tier is the bomb diggity! And the little Spanish man and woman, how awesome! Great items and great photos. Yes, the words are getting too difficult to decipher even with my glasses on. I have to call my kids over to the computer to read them to me!!
What a varied set of treasures this week! Way to go, Joe!
I love the colors of the cups with the matching sugar and creamer set. That lonely little salt shaker sure would be cute as a glitter shaker!
I love that sweet little bunny plate! So cute!
I hate to say it but I REFUSE to leave comments if I don’t get it the first time with those crazy word verification. It is so easy to turn off and use other means.
