ALDI Finds for August 5, 2026 with dorm room essentials, new vegetarian food finds, budget friendly home buys, award winning snacks and a first peek at fall favorites.
Hello, friends! Here we are at Week 5 already!!! This is where we talk about everything ALDI, and each week I bring you some of the specials, reviews, tips, tricks, recipes, deals and more to help make your shopping trip a little more fun and useful.
Each week is going to be a little different because ALDI is always changing things up on us. One week we are looking at kitchen organizers and the next week we are suddenly surrounded by dorm room pillows, lunch bags, new pizzas and the first signs of fall lol.
I love shopping at ALDI, and I honestly get excited each week to see what is new, what seasonal goodies have arrived and, of course, to pick up the things my family already loves.
I also have to tell you that ALDI has been a huge help with our food budget and continues to be. The savings truly add up!
I never thought my family would love store brands the way they do, but it happened. I knew it was official when my son started loving ALDI ketchup instead of the 57 variety. I truly thought that was an impossibility!
Throughout the weeks, I will share what we love, tell you about anything new that we try, scope out the best deals and all that jazz lol. I will also tell you when I do not like something because that is helpful too!
Hopefully, very soon I will start doing some taste tests. Would you enjoy that? Is there something you have seen at ALDI that you would like me to try first?
Let’s grab our quarter, find our bags and get shopping!

Quick Note
Please Remember
ALDI prices, products and availability can vary from store to store. Some ALDI Finds arrive early, some appear a little late and the most popular ones can disappear quickly.
The prices listed throughout this post are the current advertised or online prices available while I am preparing it. Your local price may be slightly different.
I always recommend checking your own store and looking carefully at the package before purchasing, especially if you have allergies or follow a special diet. Ingredients and manufacturing information can change, so please check each label for yourself.
As always, those of us avoiding gelatin or confectioner’s glaze should take an extra look at the ingredient lists on novelty sweets and treats.
This Week at ALDI
ALDI Finds for the Week of August 5, 2026
This week ALDI is clearly thinking about college students, dorm rooms, school lunches and busy mornings.
The home side of the store is filled with affordable bedding, pillows, bathroom organizers and a few little comforts that could make a dorm room or first apartment feel more like home.
Over in the food section, we have two new vegetarian pizzas, quick appetizers, a fun lunchbox treat and an award winning snack that deserves a closer look.
There are also a few fall foods heading our way later this month. I know some of us are still hanging on tightly to summer, but ALDI has already started whispering pumpkin spice in our ears lol.
Let’s take a look!
ALDI Finds
Dorm Room Fillers
Whether you are preparing a student for college, helping someone furnish a first apartment or simply replacing a few things around the house, this week has several practical finds at prices that will not completely destroy the budget.

Dorm Room Fillers
Visage Basic Hairbrush
Current advertised price: $1.99 each
This is one of those simple little purchases that could easily be forgotten during the rush of packing for school.
The Visage Basic Hairbrushes are available in an assortment of styles, so shoppers can choose the type that works best for their hair. At only $1.99, one could be tucked into a dorm room toiletry basket, gym bag, travel bag or bathroom drawer without spending much at all.
It could also be a smart backup brush to keep in the car or overnight bag. Just look carefully at the styles because each brush may be designed for a slightly different purpose.
Dorm Room Fillers
KIRKTON HOUSE Design Cosmetic Storage
Current advertised price: $4.99 each
Small spaces can become messy very quickly. God do I know… especially when makeup, skincare, hair accessories and toiletries are all competing for the same tiny bathroom counter.
The KIRKTON HOUSE Design Cosmetic Storage pieces are a cute and affordable way to corral some of those smaller items. They could be used for makeup brushes, lotions, cotton rounds, hair ties, clips, perfume bottles or everyday skincare products.
I could also see these working on a desk for pens and supplies or on a dresser for jewelry and little accessories. It is always nice when an inexpensive organizer can be used in more than one room.

Dorm Room Fillers
KIRKTON HOUSE Five Liter Bathroom Bin
Current advertised price: $9.99
A small bathroom bin may not be the most exciting dorm room purchase, but it is certainly one of the things everyone will need.
This five liter size should fit nicely beside a sink, underneath a vanity or in a small corner without taking up too much precious floor space.
It could also work in a bedroom, home office or craft room where a full size wastebasket would be too large. I like that it is useful beyond the college years, which makes it feel like a more practical purchase.

Dorm Room Fillers
KIRKTON HOUSE Body Pillow
Current advertised price: $12.99
This twenty by forty eight inch body pillow could bring a little extra comfort to a dorm bed, apartment bedroom or cozy reading corner.
The assortment includes several colors, textures and patterns, including ribbed fabrics, checks, ruffles and other decorative finishes. Some are soft and simple while others add a little more personality to the room.
A body pillow can be used for sleeping, lounging, reading or propping yourself up while watching television. It could also help make a plain dorm bed look more finished without requiring a pile of expensive decorative pillows.

Dorm Room Fillers
KIRKTON HOUSE Antimicrobial Bed Pillow
Current advertised price: $5.99
At $5.99, this could be a very useful basic for a dorm room, guest room or first apartment.
The pillow is described as antimicrobial, which is certainly appealing for something used every night. However, I would still recommend adding a washable pillow protector and checking the package for all care instructions.
Even if you are not sending anyone off to college, this might be a good opportunity to replace an older pillow or pick up an extra one for overnight guests.

Dorm Room Fillers
Campus Collection by Kirkton Sheet Set
Current advertised price: $7.99 per set
The Campus Collection Sheet Sets are available in Twin XL and Full sizes, with color choices that include white, pink and purple.
Twin XL sheets can be surprisingly expensive when college shopping begins, so $7.99 is a price worth noticing. At that price, it may even be possible to purchase a second set so there is always a clean one ready on laundry day.
Be sure to check the package carefully for the exact size, color and pieces included before purchasing. Dorm mattresses can vary, and Twin XL is not the same length as a standard twin mattress.

Need a Card?

Need a Card?
Pembrook Greeting Cards
Current advertised price: 99 cents each
ALDI is offering another assortment of Pembrook Greeting Cards for only 99 cents each.
This is an excellent time to stock up on a few birthday, thank you, congratulations and thinking of you cards. Having a small assortment at home can save both time and money when an occasion suddenly sneaks up on us.
Greeting cards have become surprisingly expensive in many stores, so finding attractive cards for under a dollar feels like a genuine bargain.
I always like to keep a few blank cards on hand too. Sometimes a handwritten note saying that you are thinking about someone means more than anything fancy.

A Little Something for the Parents

A Little Something for the Parents
KIRKTON HOUSE Headboard Backrest
Current advertised price: $18.99
This one may be advertised with the dorm room collection, but college students certainly do not get to keep all of the cozy things for themselves lol.
The KIRKTON HOUSE Headboard Backrest is a large supportive pillow designed for sitting comfortably in bed. It could be helpful for reading, watching television, using a laptop or enjoying that first quiet cup of coffee in the morning.
It could also work on a daybed, deep chair or sofa where a little more back support is needed.
After all of the shopping, organizing, packing and moving, I think the parents deserve a comfortable place to sit too!
ALDI Finds
Back to School Lunch Finds

Back to School Lunch Finds
Live In Style Insulated Lunch Bag with Cold Pack
Current advertised price: $8.99 each
This insulated lunch bag comes with a cold pack, which makes the $8.99 price especially appealing.
It could be useful for school lunches, work lunches, road trips, sports practices or keeping a few snacks cool during a busy day of errands.
The included cold pack means there is one less separate item to purchase, and the insulated bag should help keep food cooler until lunchtime when used according to the package directions.
Look through the available designs and check the interior size to make sure it will hold the containers, drink bottle and snacks your family usually packs.

Back to School Lunch Finds
Bake Shop PB and J Filled Crepes
Current advertised price: $3.69 for 6.78 ounces
Each package contains six soft crepes filled with the familiar combination of peanut butter and jelly.
These could be a fun lunchbox surprise, quick breakfast or after school snack. They may also be handy on those rushed mornings when everyone is trying to get out of the house at the same time.
Because they contain peanuts, please be mindful of school allergy policies and check the complete ingredient label before packing them in a lunch.
I am curious about these! They sound like one of those products that children could either absolutely love or immediately give us a complete review of lol.
ALDI Finds
Cozy Time

Cozy Time
KIRKTON HOUSE Ultra Cozy Knit Throw
Current advertised price: $19.99 each
These Ultra Cozy Knit Throws are available in a nice assortment that includes solids, leopard prints, stripes and checkerboard patterns.
They could add warmth and color to a dorm room, bedroom, reading chair or living room sofa. A cozy throw is also helpful when roommates cannot agree on the temperature, which I have a feeling happens quite often!
The knit texture gives these a more finished look than a basic fleece blanket, so they could provide comfort while also adding a little decorating style to the room.
At $19.99, this might also be a nice gift to tuck away for a birthday, housewarming or the holidays.

New Food Finds This Week
Now we have reached the food… and this week brings us several new meatless options!
As always, vegetarians should check each package carefully because ingredients and manufacturing information can change. Anyone avoiding animal based enzymes should also review the cheese information for themselves.
New Food Finds This Week
Mama Cozzi’s Roasted Vegetable Pizza
Current advertised price: $5.99
The Mama Cozzi’s Roasted Vegetable Pizza combines a thick crust with roasted vegetables, mozzarella and goat cheese.
The goat cheese should add a little tanginess and make this feel more interesting than a basic vegetable pizza. It sounds like a nice option for an easy dinner, especially when paired with a salad or a simple vegetable on the side.
This could also be cut into smaller pieces and served as an appetizer for movie night or a casual gathering.
I am very interested in trying this one because a good vegetarian frozen pizza is always useful to have waiting in the freezer.
New Food Finds This Week
Mama Cozzi’s Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza
Current advertised price: $5.99
The Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza brings together spicy buffalo flavor and cauliflower on a thick pizza crust.
I love seeing a meatless version of something that is usually made with chicken. It gives vegetarian shoppers another fun option while still delivering those bold, tangy buffalo flavors.
I would serve this with celery, carrots and a cool ranch or blue cheese style dip to balance the heat.
Please check the package for the exact toppings, cooking instructions and spice level because buffalo products can range from pleasantly zippy to someone please bring me a glass of water lol.

New Food Finds This Week
Appetitos Cream Cheese Wontons
Current advertised price: $2.99 for 6 ounces
These Cream Cheese Wontons feature crisp wrappers with a creamy cheese filling inside.
They could be a fun appetizer, snack or addition to an easy Asian inspired dinner. Serve them with sweet chili sauce, duck sauce or another favorite dipping sauce.
I could also see adding these to a meal with vegetable fried rice, stir fried vegetables or the spring rolls we are looking at next.
Check the package for the recommended oven or air fryer preparation instructions so the wrappers become crisp without the filling becoming too hot.

New Food Finds This Week
Fusia Asian Inspirations Veggie Spring Rolls
Current advertised price: $4.99 for 10 ounces
These Veggie Spring Rolls are another helpful freezer option for quick lunches, snacks and simple dinners.
They can be served on their own with dipping sauce or turned into a fuller meal with rice, noodles, edamame or stir fried vegetables.
I like keeping foods like this in the freezer for the days when everyone is hungry but no one has the time or energy to start a complicated recipe.
Between the spring rolls and cream cheese wontons, we could put together a very easy appetizer night without ordering takeout.

Award Winning Snacks

Award Winning Snacks
Simply Nature Chocolate Chip Granola Bites
Current online price: approximately $3.45 for 4.25 ounces
The Simply Nature Granola Bites were named Best Granola in the 2026 Product of the Year awards, so these little snacks have earned some serious attention.
The Chocolate Chip variety combines oats with little bits of chocolate for a snack that feels sweet without being quite as heavy as a candy bar or cookie.
They are gluten free and Non GMO, and the box contains portioned snack packs that could be helpful for lunchboxes, handbags, desk drawers and busy mornings.
These would also be tasty crumbled over yogurt or served with fruit for a quick breakfast.

Award Winning Snacks
Simply Nature Strawberry Granola Bites
Current online price: approximately $3.45 for 4.25 ounces
The Strawberry Granola Bites offer a fruitier version of the same award winning snack.
These could be a nice choice for someone who enjoys a little sweetness but does not necessarily want chocolate. They are also gluten free and Non GMO, making them worth a look for families shopping with those needs in mind.
I think the strawberry bites would be especially good with vanilla yogurt or packed alongside a piece of fresh fruit.
Now the question is… chocolate chip or strawberry? I have a feeling we may need both in the name of research lol.
ALDI Finds
Pass the Chips

Pass the Chips
Park Street Deli Street Corn Dip
Current online price: approximately $3.29 for 10 ounces
The Park Street Deli Street Corn Dip is inspired by the creamy, cheesy and slightly spicy flavors of Mexican street corn.
It is made with roasted corn, onions, spices, mayonnaise, sour cream and cotija cheese, creating a rich dip with plenty of flavor and texture.
Serve it with tortilla chips, crackers or fresh vegetables. It could also be spooned onto a baked potato, tucked into a quesadilla or used to add something special to a simple bowl of rice and beans.
This is one of those dips that could disappear very quickly once everyone starts tasting it, so I would not expect leftovers!
ALDI Finds
A Little Fall Sneak Peek
ALDI is beginning to roll out the fall flavors later this month, and there are a few things already catching my eye.
A Little Fall Sneak Peek
Clancy’s Drizzled Kettle Corn
Available beginning August 19
Current advertised price: $2.29 per bag
The Drizzled Kettle Corn is returning in Maple and Pumpkin Spice flavors.
This combines sweet kettle corn with a fall flavored drizzle, giving us the salty, sweet and crunchy combination that makes it difficult to stop at one handful.
The Maple sounds especially tempting to me, but I have a feeling the Pumpkin Spice variety will be the first one to disappear from many stores.
These would be fun for a fall movie night, after school snack or little treat tucked into a lunch.
A Little Fall Sneak Peek
Berryhill Fall Maple Syrups
Available beginning August 19
Current advertised price: $5.49 each
Berryhill is bringing out three seasonal maple syrup flavors… Bourbon Barrel, Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon Roll.
These could make an ordinary stack of pancakes or waffles feel like a special fall breakfast. They could also be drizzled over oatmeal, yogurt, baked apples, French toast or vanilla ice cream.
The Cinnamon Roll flavor sounds like it could be wonderful in coffee, while the Pumpkin Spice syrup would be perfect for anyone who begins celebrating fall the moment the calendar turns to August.
I am curious about the Bourbon Barrel flavor too. I think that one could add a deeper maple flavor to baked goods or a sweet glaze.
A Little Fall Sneak Peek
Sundae Shoppe Fall Gelato
Available beginning August 26
Current advertised price: $3.79 per pint
The Apple Pie, Pumpkin Praline Pie and Cinnamon Coffee Cake flavors are actually new Sundae Shoppe Gelato varieties… and they sound amazing!
The Apple Pie sounds fruity and cozy, the Pumpkin Praline Pie brings the classic flavor of fall and the Cinnamon Coffee Cake may be the one that calls my name the loudest.
These could be served in a bowl, added to a cone or used to create a very easy fall dessert with cookies, caramel sauce or a sprinkle of chopped nuts.
ALDI is not easing us gently into autumn this year. It is coming in with maple syrup, pumpkin spice, kettle corn and gelato all at once lol.

Tried and True

Tried and True
PurAqua Belle Vie Sparkling Water
Current online price: approximately $3.99 for twelve cans
This product has been sitting right under my nose for years!
I always referred to Belle Vie as the ALDI seltzer, but it is sold as sparkling water, and somehow I never really paid attention to the name on the box.
Does that completely explain why I have always thought it tasted better than so many of the other sparkling waters I have tried? Probably not lol… but at least the label mystery has been solved!
Belle Vie is available in several flavors, along with an original unflavored variety. It has zero calories and can be a refreshing way to make drinking water feel a little more interesting without adding sugar.
The price is right, the bubbles are good and my family genuinely enjoys it. Give it a try and tell me which flavor is your favorite!
30 Minute ALDI Meal
Budget Friendly Dinner Under $15
Teriyaki Tofu Stir Fry with Rice
This week’s budget friendly dinner is colorful, filling and much easier to make than it may look. We are preparing a simple Teriyaki Tofu Stir Fry with plenty of vegetables, fluffy rice and a sprinkle of fresh green onions.
Now… please do not let the tofu scare you away! Extra firm tofu is mild, affordable and takes on the flavor of whatever sauce you cook it with. The secret is simply pressing out as much moisture as possible and allowing the tofu to cook undisturbed for a few minutes so it can develop those lovely golden edges.
Tofu keeps this meal completely vegetarian and gives it a nice boost of plant based protein. Of course, everyone should feel free to adjust the meal for their own household and use the protein their family enjoys most. The vegetables, rice and teriyaki sauce create a wonderful base that can work with many different dinner preferences.
Shopping List
- 2 packages Earth Grown Organic Extra Firm Tofu at $1.75 each: $3.50
- 2 packages Season’s Choice Steamable Asian Medley at $1.75 each: $3.50
- 1 bag Earthly Grains Long Grain White Rice: $2.95
- 1 bottle Burman’s Teriyaki Sauce: $2.55
- 1 package Green Onions: $1.19
Estimated Total: $13.69
Prices may vary slightly by location and can change from week to week. Pantry basics such as cooking oil, salt and pepper are not included in the total.
How I Would Make It
- Begin by preparing the rice according to the directions on the package.
- While the rice is cooking, remove the tofu from its packaging and drain away all of the liquid. Wrap each block in clean paper towels or a clean kitchen towel and gently press down to remove as much moisture as possible.
- You do not need a special tofu press. Simply place the wrapped tofu on a plate, set another plate or a small cutting board on top and add something with a little weight, such as a can of vegetables. Allow it to sit for about 10 minutes while you prepare the remaining ingredients.
- Cut the pressed tofu into bite sized cubes.
- Heat a tablespoon or two of cooking oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the tofu in a single layer, leaving a little room between the pieces whenever possible.
- Allow the tofu to cook without moving it for approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Once the bottom is golden, gently turn the cubes and continue cooking until several sides are lightly browned.
- The tofu does not have to be perfectly crispy on every side. A few beautiful golden edges will give it plenty of texture and help it hold up nicely in the stir fry.
- Prepare the Asian vegetable medley according to the package directions. Drain away any excess water so the finished stir fry does not become watery.
- Add the cooked vegetables to the skillet with the tofu. Pour in enough teriyaki sauce to lightly coat everything and gently stir until the tofu and vegetables are covered.
- Allow the mixture to cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, just until the sauce is warm and begins to cling to the ingredients.
- Spoon the warm rice into bowls and top with the teriyaki tofu and vegetables.
- Finish each bowl with a generous sprinkle of freshly sliced green onions.
A Few Helpful Tofu Tips
- Extra firm tofu is the best choice for this recipe because it holds its shape while cooking.
- Removing the excess water is one of the most important steps. The drier the tofu is before it goes into the skillet, the easier it will be to brown.
- Make sure the skillet and oil are hot before adding the tofu.
- Try not to stir the tofu too often. Giving it time to sit against the hot pan is what creates those golden edges.
- A nonstick skillet can make the process especially easy for anyone cooking tofu for the first time.
Easy Ways to Make It Your Own
- You can add a little garlic, ginger or crushed red pepper if you already have them in the pantry.
- A squeeze of fresh lime would add a bright and refreshing finishing touch.
- If your family prefers extra vegetables, you could add broccoli, mushrooms, bell peppers or whatever needs to be used from the refrigerator.
- You can also adjust the amount of teriyaki sauce according to your family’s taste. Start with a little, stir everything together and then add more as needed.
Why This Dinner Works
This easy ALDI dinner gives you protein, vegetables and rice in one colorful and satisfying meal. It feels fresh and flavorful without requiring a long ingredient list or complicated preparation.
It is also a wonderful introduction to tofu for anyone who has been curious but unsure about trying it. Once it is golden, coated in teriyaki sauce and served with plenty of vegetables and rice… it becomes a comforting dinner that even tofu beginners can enjoy.
Simple, affordable and ready in about 30 minutes… that is exactly the kind of weekday meal we love around here!
