Amazingly Fresh Farmhouse Thrift Store Makeovers

It’s Monday so it must be Amazingly Fresh Farmhouse Thrift Store Makeovers Day!  We have some incredible beauties here today.  From a Grandmothers Cabinet getting a Fresh New Cottage Farmhouse Look to a piece of an Old Rocker that was taken from the Neighbors Trash…we have something for everyone!  Sure hope you enjoy this collection over a yummy cup of your favorite brew!

 

Christine over at Renewed Claimed Path found this cute little End Table that needed a lot of love…and that is what it got.  Come and see what a great paint treatment and new hardware can do for a very tired out dated piece of furniture!

 

I am going to ask you a question…would you pick up a chair from your Thrift Store that had been dog chewed…missing a splat…damaged rush…have 2 missing rungs??? Well our Larissa from Prodigal Pieces picked it up with no problem and then worked her Farmhouse Magic on it.  The end results…amazing!  Come and see how she did it!

 

When Gail over at My Repurposed Life got Rodney Free (Rodney is what she calls this cute little Vintage Sewing Desk) she knew that she needed some Kitchen Storage and a TV Stand so this little Sewing Desk got a total makeover and was totally repurposed.  Oh and I failed to mention…it also serves as an adorable cozy little spot for her precious pup! Now Rodney has a new home and tons of purpose!  Come and see how she did it.

 

What do you do when the Universe gives you old drawers?  Make display shelves of course!  That is what the Girl In The Garage did and they look fabulous!  So the next time you see some drawers in your Thrift Store or even better…road side…pick them up…there are just soooooo many possibilities that await you.  Come and see how these pretties were made!  

 

I think by now you know how much I lover Larissa from Prodigal Pieces creations!  She just brings the best out of old…broken pieces and makes them shine from the inside out!  Well this on in particular touched my heart in 2 ways…it’s new color is my lifetime favorite color and much more important…it was her husbands Grandmothers and in her honor she gave it a totally fresh and fabulous look but still kept the “heart” of the piece.  It now has a new life and will be treasured by even more generations.  Larissa…Grandma is smiling at you from the Heavens!  Come and see the before and after and then bake a yummy pie in your Grandma’s honor…I will make a big pot of Spaghetti Sauce : )

 

Christy…the Mistress of Makeovers worked her miracles once again when she saw this broken piece of her neighbors rocker in the garbage!  Yes…she picked her neighbors garbage lol!
