Apple Cider Vinegar Beauty Hacks are all natural… etffective and fabulous. These quick and easy mixtures will refresh you the natural way.
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) may have a rather potent scent but the internal and external benefits it can bring are truly amazing. Remember you can always off set the smell by adding a few drops of subtle essential oil. Read on to find out more about how you can include Apple Cider Vinegar in your beauty routine.
Nails
Having stained or yellowed nails can be a bit embarrassing. Luckily this is one of the things apple cider vinegar can help with, it reduces the discoloration and brightens your nails up.
Just mix half a cup of water and half a cup of apple cider vinegar in a small bowl. Then, soak your fingernails in the vinegar solution for about 30 minutes and then rinse it off.
If you have a nail or toenail infection, you can use this same mixture to treat it.
Blemishes
Apple cider vinegar is really effective in helping you treat those pesky blemishes or pimples on your skin.
All you need to do is dab some apple cider vinegar right on the affected spot. ACV has some enzymes that can help balance the pH level of your skin helping to rid you of those unwanted blemishes.
It also acts as a facial cleanser to keep your skin free from bacteria.
Rinse
Apple cider vinegar contains properties that can help make your hair super soft and shiny.
Just mix equal parts apple cider vinegar and water. Put the mixture in a spray bottle and spray it all over your hair right after you shampoo while in the shower.
Massage it into your scalp and let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse it off.
The vinegar helps condition and strengthen your hair shaft and balance your hair’s pH level.
Brushes
It’s very important to make sure that your makeup brushes are clean all the time to keep your skin clear and blemish free.
The good thing is apple cider vinegar has antibacterial properties that will help you clean and disinfect your dirtiest brushes.
Just mix one-fourth cup of water and one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a bowl. Soak your makeup brushes for a couple of minutes and then rinse with water.
Feet
Apple cider vinegar is also great for a foot soak it works to soften and exfoliate those dead skin cells on your feet.
All you need to do is mix two parts water with one part apple cider vinegar, then just soak your feet in the solution for 10 – 15 minutes.
This will not only make your feet feel super soft but it’s also an effective treatment for foot odor and any fungal infection. I have to add this little note… my husband that has a problem with his right foot saw his Podiatrist today and he said that things looked much better and guess what he has been doing? You guessed it… soaking his foot with the one part apple cider vinegar to 2 parts water twice a week : ) Just thought you would like to know that : )
Dandruff
Mixing equal parts apple cider vinegar and water and applying that to your scalp before shampooing will help eliminate dandruff, too. It works on dandruff because it helps lower the high levels of yeast on the scalp that causes dandruff.
