Beth has been sharing such wonderful Fall Upcycle Projects lately and here is one more. I have seen many a bushel baskets in my Thrift Store and you can score some at the Farmer’s Market also (they are nearing the end of their Season so hurry). It is crazy how one of these can turn into pumpkin wish such Farmhouse appeal in just a snap! So… if you can… gather up a bunch of all different sizes and start creating! They also make a great dome for a dessert reveal!!! ENJOY!
DIY Recycled Sweater Pumpkins With Wine Cork Stems – Petticoat Junktion
Since we are on a roll with pumpkins… here is yet another one! Kathy shows us that we can get the velour type Anthropolgie Pumpkin look for a fraction of the price! Get some faux pumpkins from the Thrift Store along with some wine cooks and a sweater with the look and color you are going for or maybe even a velour skirt or pants or??? I don’t believe they are in style so hopefully you will find some of the racks. Once you have all of these pieces it is time to put it all together and Kathy will show you how. The end result is really amazing!
DIY Book Pumpkin – h20 Bungalow
Here’s one more Thrift Pumpkin Project for the road! Wendi is going to show you how to take an ordinary book (I know many of you don’t like books being used for projects and I get it because I am a HUGE book lover… but there are literally acres upon acres of warehouse with old books that will never be read again… so taking an old book like that and making something new is a good thing). This project is simple and budget friendly All you need is an old book… spray paint…scissors… hot glue and glue and a few embellishments! Watch it all come together… you are going to love it.
