Updated Drop-Leaf Tables – Confessions Of A Serial DIYER
How awesome are these little tables… first I love the drop leaf style… in a snap they can give you double the space! Ok… back to the tables. These little cuties needed some TLC and some Updating. Enter Christy! She cleaned them up, did her sanding, painting and then she added something very special… she added gorgeous decorative pieces that she made herself with resin. The best part is is that she shares the DIY tutorial so you can make your own embellishments. WOW do they really jazz up a piece of furniture! So there is tons of fun waiting for you! Be sure to hop over. Just think of what you can do with those embellishments… possibilities are limitless.
Rub On Transfers For Furniture – Reinvented Delaware
I love this transfer project (Cindy gives us a full tutorial on how to apply). I call this a Peek A Boo creations… that is when the design is placed on the inside of the doors and what is inside. So once you open the doors… it looks like an entirely different piece. FABULOUS! A lot of people do this technique with drawers… they wallpaper the inside sides so when you open the drawers it looks pretty! Back to the project lol… all your questions on rub-ons will be answered! Sure hope you enjoy and create something awesome.
Barbie Inspired Painted Desk – Salvaged Inspirations
I had to include this cutie for sure! Barbie is even more popular now than ever before so who wouldn’t want to show their love for this American Icon. Denise is going to take you through the entire process… from cleaning to sanding to fixing to undercoating to applying a custom perfect Barbie Pink Paint and the top coat to protect this beauty! So come on over and join that craze… everyone needs a little pink in their lives! How awesome would this look in a kids room! ENJOY!
Another Old Dresser Another New Look – Beautiful By Angela
Here’s one you have to check out for sure! This old dresser has seen better days and it is a bit out of style for sure… but Angela saw MAJOR potential in it. She had total foresight to take those non-hardware drawers… divide them into three sections each and add card catalog hardware with a pull and transformed this dull piece into a Vintage Style Stunner! Come and watch this entire process… believe me… it is loaded with tips and tricks that you can apply to many of your makeovers. Be inspired and when it comes to pieces of furniture to makeover… you can’t always judge the book from the cover because I know that I would have probably passed this one by but I am glad she didn’t!
