Window Coat Rack – My Repurposed Life
Can you believe that this Window was at a ReStore for $1!!!! How awesome is that. Well it was the perfect piece for Gail’s Window Coat Rack . She was inspired by a piece that she saw in Cracker Barrel! I have to tell you hers is much more fabulous. Come and see how quickly this beauty came together. I know that you will be on the look out for a window in your Thrift Store now.
DIY Welcome Sign Coat Rack — Upcycled Decor – Prodigal Pieces
I just love Larissa’s creativity. She should be classified as a Thrift Store Finder “Whisper” . For example… the fabulous Farmhouse DIY Welcome Sign Coat Rack was once sitting on the shelf of her Thrift Store looking very very dated. Well she heard it calling her and she saw through it and created this beauty. You have to see the before to totally appreciate the after over at Prodigal Pieces.
Thrift Store Picture Frame Makeover – Refresh Restyle
I am sooooooo loving this Makeover over at Refresh Restyle. Turning a Thrift Store Frame into a Letter Board is brilliant and she is sharing how she did it. So keep your eyes out for those Thrift Store Frames… the possibilities are ENDLESS with this DIY and Inspiration.
Vintage Secretary Desk With Updated Look – Prodigal Pieces
This beauty is going to make your heart skip a beat… believe me… it is. Especially when you see the inside with all the cubbies!!!! Larissa loves this style furniture and she does such an amazing job giving it new life. Come and see how she prepares this piece for its grand makeover. There was a lot of repair… filling of holes… sanding and more! Then she paints it and as a finishing touch she adds dimension… you have to come and see the whole thing come together… perfection! There is also a very sweet little story! So head on over to Prodigal Pieces and ENJOY! This piece would look amazing ANYWHERE!!!
Thrifted Wicker Chair – Liz Marie
I have to tell you that my heart did a little pitter patter when I saw this Thrifted Wicker Chair over at Liz Marie Blog. She had had her eye on a $200 Wicker Chair over at Pier 1 but couldn’t justify it…but when she saw this Wicker Chair at her local Thrift Shop for $15 it didn’t matter that there was no cushion and that it was scratched and had some damage spots…she had a plan and all I can say is WOW!!! Drop by and see how she created this beauty…trust me…you will look at wicker totally different from now on!
DIY Thrifted Rolling Laundry Cart – Prodigal Pieces
Leave it up to the Thrift Store Makeover Queen… Larissa from Prodigal Pieces to take this Thrifted Basket and turn it into an amazing Farmhouse Rolling Laundry Cart with Cottage Style. Come and see how she did it and maybe you will be luck enough to find a basket that would work to recreate this project. Love it!
Vintage Desk Makeover – Saw Nail and Paint
Susan from Saw Nail and Paint did such an amazing job on this gorgeous piece. After a lot of sanding (too much actually because it affected the veneer… but it ended ok because some wood was used and then the luscious shade of Fusion Mineral paint covered the burns from sanding imperfections) . In the end… a Masterpiece! Come and see how it all comes together.
Thrift Store Decor Tiered Tin Stand – Bliss Ranch
If you are here… I do believe you are a lover of all things Farmhouse… so you are very familiar with 3 tiered trays and such! Well here’s one that was made over at Bliss Ranch and WOW is it Budget Friendly. I am just amazed that the base to this project is a bunch of tins from a Thrift Store… believe it or not… they are the tins with the little flowers or reindeer or Santa’s and such on them. She is sharing a technique with us today that turns those tins into these! How great is that. Now when you see those tins … don’t just think about putting cookies in them… set your sights higher… 3 tiers higher! Go get that DIY!
