Bench Makeover – Designed Decor
De De From Designed Decor has a moment of Brilliance as far as I am concerned when she Re-Purposed these Chair Lets into a bench! It doesn’t matter if the top of the chair was broken or if the seat caved in…nope…she sawed the seat and above off and was left with the set of legs X 1 which she added a piece of wood to and it formed a fabulous Farmhouse Bench. Come and see how she did it. You can even make single stools. Like I said…brilliant! Moral of the story… 90 percent of the time a Thrift Store Chair can be made into something amazing!
Vintage Farmhouse Decor with Architectural Salvage – Sadie Seasongoods
This has to be one of my favorite creations from Sarah over at Sadie Seasongoods! She found a simple pair of wood bookends at her Thrift Shop and then had the brilliant idea to add finials. In the end she produced a piece that looks like it came out of Restoration Hardware or a High End Boutique. See how she did it! Then let all your inspiration flow! You know… it is really simple to build your own bookends and then you can add whatever you would like! ENJOY!
